Not sure if this can be called as confrontation, but I absolutely loved Rohit in this sequence. Armaan's disappointment that he was not informed about the pregnancy which he came to know from others, the realization that there could be life threatening medical complications for Abhira, the painful decision to opt for termination - all wonderfully portrayed by Rohit. And yes, he looked absolutely fine while at it🤩

My 2 favourites have to be the ones he had with his grandmother. KV & Armaan have the best chemistry both as characters and as actors. They both are complex characters & Armaan's need to always impress Kaveri led to the most explosive scenes when he finally found out how she betrayed him. That years of pent up anger and frustration poured out when he questioned his grandmother's double standards & then finally she helped him realise just how important Abhira was to him.

The second time Armaan decided to confront his Dadisa was also one of my favourite, because a lot of us had questioned on why he hadn't taken this step already. Why wasn't he cutting the umbilical cord? Why wasn't he taking a stand for himself? Well he did take a stand. Not for himself, but for the one person whom he loved more than himself. And that confrontation was mind-blowing in the way that he called out how she has problems with Abhira because she made him question the years of him going along with what Dadisa said without ever questioning anything. That for him, she is his everything - more than what the Poddar name or house could ever be.

Rohit excels in confrontation scenes …since my faves seem to be universal faves, like Armaan’s scenes with Kaveri Poddar and also the scene with Abhira post the divorce hearing, I am not left with too much to say…Kaveri and Armaan have always struck sparks off each other because both have a powerful presence …I think the three confrontation scenes he’s had with Sanjay Bansal, also deserve special mention…the time Armaan reminded him of Abhira’s status as his wife ..I think it was one of his earlier scenes on the show and gave a glimpse of the power he could pack …and then the scenes post the bachelor party and the one after Sanjay Bansal had Abhira framed …the contained aggression and fury was still palpable …but going back to my own fave, his drunken confrontation with Kaveri will remain extra special because it stemmed from a sense of personal betrayal …Armaan always fights for other but he rarely fights for himself ..and any and every time he does will remain special ..looking forward to seeing more of confrontational Armaan ..apart from power packed performances, it has to be said that an angry Armaan looks extra hot 🔥

This is gonna be a series, because I honestly cannot choose. He's the king of confrontation scenes.

Firstly, the confrontation with Abhira after she lied in divorce court. This was probably the first time that he's ever let out his frustrations in such a vulnerable way. It was a phenomenal scene because understood where Armaan was coming from and honestly felt for him. He felt betrayed by someone he trusted and really let Abhira have it. Armaan had no idea why Abhira did what she did, especially after they decided to not let others dictate their relationship. Confusion, anger, and pain was all over this scene.

Secondly, the confrontation with Dadisa post the Sangeet. He was drunk (love it!), but with the liquid courage in him, he really let her have it. What's amazing about this is that he's never said anything to Dadisa before- always gone with everything that she wants. This was the first time that he spoke for him and once he got started, he couldn't stop. Armaan said all the right things here. And of course, he realized that he was in love with Abhira during this confrontation, so double bonus. It took him long enough to do both these things, but we knew that he had it in him.

Thirdly, the Teej confrontation. He stood up for Abhira during this scene. He didn't want the love of his life to be continuously disrespected in that house, and while this was a very difficult decision for him, he did what he had to do. He realized that Dadisa was happy with him as long as he kept blindly listening to her, but now that he was Abhira's Armaan, she hated it. She wanted a puppet and now that Armaan's eyes had been opened, he didn't wanna be one anymore. Armaan standing up for himself and Abhira showed how far he'd come. Self respect for the win.

Lastly, the confrontation with Abhira after he found out that she was pregnant. It was raining outside during the first part, which added to the intensity of this scene, but what truly stands out is the fact that he was angry, but he locked her in the warm, dry car, and let himself get soaked in the rain. He stood outside the car and had a phone discussion with her because he didn't want her to fall sick or get hurt due to his anger. He was rightfully angry during this scene and the one at the Poddar house because she hid important information from him that he should've been the first to know about. He deserved that. And she was putting her life in danger during this pregnancy, despite knowing what means to him. Emotional, heavy stuff.

All the scenes have the special Rohit charm and he nailed every single one of them.

The voice modulation and desperation here...He was so confident and calm till reach court that though they will divorce but not on a bitter note...But the moment Abhira said the marriage was by pressure all hell broke..Being a lawyer he himself forgot the decorum until judge remind him ...His calm and quite demenour changed to desperation and anger quickly..
