If Shivani’s intro scene did not have her rejecting RK saying he could not be her Aaru because her Aaru’s eyes were different, I don’t think many of us would be this disappointed ..that scene created expectations that have since been belied …you cannot just show one scene like that and then just proceed like it never happened …the absolute lack of conflict in Shivani has destroyed any desire in me to even see her realisation ..she will only be confused and conflicted ..the earth won’t give way close to, like we would’ve wanted it …they are more interested in building up the Shivani-RK-Abhira drama atp..besides Shivani doesn’t seem mentally disturbed in the least …I don’t know why they even pushed that narrative…it just makes me wish Shivani wasn’t even Armaan’s mother

A man who grew up in a close to hostile environment, without ever experiencing the unconditional love that a mother alone can offer, deserves better than this ..!

This track has been the most crushingly disappointing for me, of all the tracks of this show in this gen

They had naach gaana even for Charu - Neeraj engagement. Here forget naach gaana, not even posing for pictures, no post function interactions..And instead they had to insert RK there as well

Regarding the Shivani- Aaru part. People with mental illness are gonna have their good days and their bad days, but i doubt that the makers are thinking so much about that. They're not thinking properly at all. That's the problem. Shivani accepting RK as her Aaru in some moments is fine. In fact, it makes perfect sense. He's been with her for 10 years, constantly telling her that he's her son. But there should be moments of doubt, like we saw in the first scene, where she said 'no you're not my Aaru. His eyes are different from yours.' That isn't only a case of a mother's heart remembering her son, but also the fact that he has distinct physical characteristics. You cannot and should not be forgetting that. Instead, they're showing Shivani happily accepting RK in every scene. Have some scenes of confusion. I'll help this whole thing go down better.

And for Armaan, the scene with Madhav was sad and emotional, but it feels like they've never discussed Shivani before, because Armaan wanted to spare Vidya's feelings. The makers always pushed that narrative and have now suddenly brought the Shivani track, so they are scrambling by adding in this scene and the shraadh one. We've never seen or heard about this shraadh happening before. It's all still salvageable. They just need to add in more scenes of Armaan remembering Shivani and not doing so much Vidya Vidya, like he's done his whole life.

Of course the RK screentime is annoying af but idk it’s hilarious that the hyped up legacy betu birla’s shaadi is this sasta shows just how supposedly important he is

We know Shivani will not be here for a long time, so it's a short duration track. There's no baggage from previous gen. Yet they managed to screw it up. A character/ track that you waited for and you end up ffding the scenes.. Who are they even targeting with those scenes

I don’t think not showing Armaan’s conflict is even a problem ..that has been the narrative of the show from Day 1…the shraadh scene was unnecessary ..!
