I have stopped watching this show … just came to the forum for time pass .. but you have put the virat kohli comparison perfectly.. these days yashaswi jaiswal is doing the same ..

For me the Abhimaan ship has a big gaping hole .. and the only way out is both passengers jump out and swim for their own safety .. they will be better off without each other

I had stopped watching this show for some time but what the hell is happening!! Why is the level of stupidity in the storyline and characters deteriorating.

Let me get this straight. Vidya caused Abhir's accident & left him to die and hid this fact which ended with Abhir in a wheelchair. Abhira filed a case against Vidya and won the case leading to vidya getting sentenced for 10 years. and now ABHIRA is feeling guilty and VIDYA wants revenge from Abhira for the MISTAKE the latter did & ARMAAN is going to get that for her.

What mistake did Abhira do. On what basis is Vidya asking Armaan that? Why is Armaan gaslighting Abhira for his mother's mistake? Is Abhira STUPID? What does she mean by "I want to give my brother justice but did not know vidya ll go to jail". ARE U SERIOUS. YOU R A LAWYER. How did u not know convicted people GO TO JAIL.

I saw the clip where Abhira is telling the goenkas "I hav fulfilled my role as a sister, now i need to fulfil the role as a wife and bahu. I am like "Whatttt" . Does she know what giving justice even means. Vidya was not even in jail for 5 days and Abhira has done something to get her out. So what justice has she given her brother. She is acting as if she has done something wrong by sending her brother's kaathil to jail. So if u always intended to side with the podaars, why did u even move forward with case claiming justice. PICK A SIDE ABHIRA.

This track has nothing to do with Abhir getting justice or Vidya getting the punishment, this is the writers twisted way of bringing angst back into the leads story. All the high-voltage drama be it charu-dev reveal, Ruhi-Armaan reveal, pre-marriage drama, all these have been plot points to either break or reunite the leads. The leads have been married a total of 2, may be 3 years and have already had 2 marriages/2 divorces. The writers have shown Armaan do the most inhumane things a husband can do to wife, yet for some reason (mostly credit to actors) this ship isn’t sinking. After every track, Armaan regrets, cries and convinces Abhira to come back. Now the story has become stagnant and repetitive, why not for a change have Abhira run behind Armaan to convince him. Now the writers think what would make Armaan most angry with Abhira, because angry ML is always writers favorite where he can push/pull FL which translates to angst in ITV world and voila there comes Vidya and Abhir, two most important relationships to the leads. Now the whole situation got complicated when they realized that they made Vidya actually do the accident (would have been better to show that she got framed or maybe she was at the scene when the accident had already happened). So now they are trying to get the angst back, so they are trying very hard to peddle the theory that by some twisted logic/belief Abhira hurt Armaan by sending Vidya to jail and she is regretting her decision. This is a track the writers know the viewers will forget once the viewers see how the leads are aching/pining to be with each other.

It’s futile to expect anything logical from ITV, realistic doesn’t even come into play, it’s fiction for a reason. ITV is infamous for exploiting the institution of marriage and everything that ensues after that, be it pregnancy, children and especially divorce. The viewing experience only gets complicated when delusion and illusion get mixed up; believing the delusion that the writers are trying to show something relatable and accepting the illusion and expecting anything logical.

First time I'm in disagreement

Imo if abhira stood by her decision to keep vidya in jail , didn't give 2 hoots to armans divorce papers & gas lighting session , instead remind him how his mother left her bro handicapped , THEN proper angst would be served ..if this happened , arman would apply in higher court , get bail for vidya & get her aquitted somehow with lies + truth ...then they had the option of showing angst filled tracks.

Right now one of them is running behind the other and that too for the wrong reasons ..divorce is a joke for them which they play during roothna manana sessions which r frankly very bland now..same thing over and over and after 4 days they will end up in the bedroom...then it's upto the writers to go for "milan" or another jhatka.
