I think amongst all the 4 generations only leads who had high moral ground and always spoke the truth was original Akshara Maheshwari and Abhimanyu. Yes they’ve their share of flaws but compared with every other lead, they were the ones who really thought about others before lying for selfish reasons otherwise every other lead turned out to be pathetic or self proclaimed losers, Naitik was mumma’s boy for years, Karthik is infamous for multiple marriages, baccha chori, calling Naira characterless, Naira just like her daughter was famous for hiding a 5 year old son, being significantly responsible for devar’s untimely death, and her daughter is 2 degree higher than that, finding new father Ji, etc etc. Now this generation is also repeating all those crap. Tbh only original Akshara and Abhimanyu seemed to have sanity and sadly these two characters were given the ending when the respective actors had the guts to call out the bad writing.

Kudos to Hina and Harshad, no wonder they’re stars, and they’ll remain in whichever channel they go. That’s why it’s always important to give a shut up call to nonsense.

I don't think the writers care about what neutral and online audience think about the show or it's characters or who they root for. They only care about the numbers (which they're getting) in which only the trp audience ( majority of whom watch for the FL and from the lenses of the FL) contributes.
