I agree with you about the lack of consistency. I know what you meant. What I meant is if the writers even had the smallest intention of showing PPD, they are going about it the wrong way. Consequently, I can't seem to understand and empathise with Abhira.

The leads are obnoxious. Armaan does bachcha chori , which is like one of the worst of crimes. Abheera on the other hand is a perverted being who sees women only as baby making machine and milk feeders. She doesn't care that ruhi is going through post partum and grieving the loss of her baby , she only sees milk in her body....perverted to the core.

I agree about Armaan but I feel here Rohit is more at fault they have shown that Armaan wants to tells but Rohit is the one who stops him to tell the truth to Ruhi. Also with Abhira I don’t see it as insensitive I think she is dealing with Ruhi how she thinks might help Ruhi to get over her loss. Abhira thinks that having a baby around would distract Ruhi since kids are innocent and precious. She doesn’t have any malicious intentions to rub salt on Ruhi’s wounds so that alone doesn’t make her a criminal.

I would say Kartik was more of a bacha chor in season 2 since he legit snatched the kid. Here Rohit handed him the kid despite Armaan saying no multiple times. Even now he wants to tell but Rohit always stops him and incites fear for Abhira’s health.

Also I disagree that Abhira only sees women as baby making machine and is perverted. She is a new mom and just desperate. Tbh they should have shown her using formula instead of begging Ruhi. She is a bit delusional thought she thinks that Ruhi helping the baby would help her heal but its far from the truth. Her intentions aren’t bad though.

Let's agree to disagree. I feel Armaan is equally at fault as Rohit. He had so many opportunities to tell the truth and no one has tied him up. Looking at the episodes, it seems as though he is hiding behind Rohit's actions to cover up his selfishness.

I am not calling Abhira a criminal. I am calling her insensitive. And this insensitivity is not called out and portrayed as correct because Abhira is the lead. If this was called out, I can understand and say that Abhira is human and makes mistakes. But this is not called out. If this was real life, I would be annoyed and think someone is purposely rubbing my wounds with salt if they behaved the way Abhira did. People who have lost someone deserve to grieve and they should be the ones to set boundaries on how others can assist them. Abhira's actions are incomprehensible given her age and profession.

I still think Rohit is more at fault than Armaan. No one should just give away their child. With Abhira you keep forgetting that she hardly has any history of dealing with a lot of family members or facing situations like these. She only had her mother with her mostly. Her language of love is smothering someone with so much love and care that she doesn’t realise it can get suffocating. Also she is a lawyer not a psychologist or a doctor. Lawyers are less prone to emotions as emotions don’t exist in court. Law is based more on logic. By her logic having a baby around should distract Ruhi because in a reverse situation she would have showered R’s baby with love even if she was grieving the loss of her own child.
