Am I the only one who has started disliking the leads?

Hi, I've been a silent viewer of this show for so long but I can't keep quiet anymore. Previously, I was neutral towards the lead characters but as the show progressed, I've only started disliking them to the point of hating them.

Let's start with Armaan. I started disliking him after his marriage track with Ruhi. It was not romantic in anyway stopping his marriage with Ruhi at the mandap and running to Abhira at the last minute. He had so many opportunities to stop the marriage. Did he not realise what a big social taboo it is (especially in India), as a lawyer? If this was real life, all fingers would be solely pointing towards Ruhi and her character. That entire track just showed how indecisive and insensitive he is and I don't get why a strong-minded girl like Abhira would want him. Just because he was a good husband to her after that, does not cover up his gaping flaws like the Rishta writers did (just like they brushed over the repercussions of his actions).

But the latest track of stealing the baby steals the cake. I used the word 'steal' as he took the baby without Ruhi's consent (even if Rohit gave it to him). He had multiple opportunities to speak up and tell the truth. He is not a 2 month baby who doesn't know right from wrong and no one taped his mouth shut. The real extent of his selfishness and insensitivity came out when he kept quiet when he saw how Ruhi was suffering. Just as he was insensitive towards his own wife. Does she does not deserve to grieve for the loss of her own baby? And considering how the writers tried to portray him as the 'ideal husband', apparently he does not seem to trust that his wife is mature enough to handle this loss. He is just as much a terrible husband as Rohit.

Towards Abhira, I was neutral all the while though I never understood why she would fall for a guy like Armaan. He was nasty towards her during the marriage track with Ruhi and considering how wishy-washy he behaved in Ruhi's matter, shouldn't she have some doubts towards his suitability as her life partner? At the start of the baby stealing track, I was really sympathetic towards her. She is also as much of a victim as Ruhi in this track and I was hoping she would divorce Armaan and move on when she found out the truth. But over the past few episodes, the way she is behaving insensitively towards Ruhi, who has found out that she has supposedly lost her baby, is really grating. Ruhi is portrayed as a villain but Abhira is supposed to be the FL. No I don't expect her to be a Mahaan, but just a sensitive human being. She is not a teenage girl, but she is a woman in her twenties who is also a lawyer. When we're around people who have suffered a great loss, all of us are so cautious about what we say and do. But the over-the-top way Abhira behaved with Ruhi leaves me questioning how she became a lawyer. As a lawyer, don't you need sensitivity when you deal with delicate cases? She appears to be situationally blind. Ruhi's hatred and jealousy towards her seemed incomprehensible previously, but in this track Ruhi's dislike for her is well-deserved.

And before anyone starts to call me Ruhi's fan, I am not. Just because she is portrayed as a villain, does not mean that the leads' actions and behaviours are correct. And yes, Ruhi deserves to be punished for cheating Rohit previously and kidnapping Armaan. But Rohit and Armaan equally deserved to be punished in this track. And no, Armaan and Rohit stealing Ruhi's baby is not justified.

To end off, I just want to say that the writers need to understand that if you want people to accept and like your leads, show them behaving in the right manner or show them accepting and learning from their mistakes. By making the villain aka Ruhi more wrong, you can't cover up their mistakes and white-wash your leads and make people like them. It just means people will dislike them like they dislike Ruhi.

Hamare leads apne galti ko accept b karte hei aur usko sudharte they b hei have you watched pre wedding episodes of abhiman no I think esliye aise lagte hei abhi Arman is not like haye mei kitne khush hu he is guilty enough for what he did Rohit jitne b sochte nhi ruhi ka yaha Arman soch rahe hei want to tell the truth kahi baat he had tried but why her pati is stopping and plz leads toh hamare likeable hi hei ruhi toh starting se hi gatiya thi aur abhi b wahi rahegi other then some set of people kisi ko uske liye bura nhi lagra hei. Because she has never realised her past deeds. Even though she don't deserve what has happened to her today. Arman is wrong in giving into Rohit and Rohit is wrong for what he did not one denying it .But anyways uske past karni bhuli nhi jaati just because aaj uske sath bura hua hei. Just because some got a point to drag leads and show chuhi as bechari it won't dusre k liye voh bechari nhi hei. And moreover leads are here not some mahan type they are flawed enough they do mistake but then understand that and rectify it always thats how abhiman has been portrayed from start.

Lol, so Rohit taped his mouth shut? When Ruhi was breaking down and the entire family was present, he could have told the truth. What could Rohit do in front of the entire family. Let's be honest, Armaan is selfish and does not want to reveal the truth. He has so many doubts about how his wife will handle the loss. If he wanted, he could reveal the truth at any moment. He is not a small baby- he is conveniently using Rohit's words to hide his innate selfishness.

And I don't get the logic, how does Ruhi not realising and being punished for her past deeds excuse the leads' behaviour? My entire post was about the leads' behaviour. I never justified or supported Ruhi's behaviour. And Ruhi is portrayed as a villain to the audience and made to do despicable stuff so that people hate her.

Armaan and Abhira have been shown suffering for all kinds of stuff but have never been shown realising and repenting for their mistakes. Case in point, what punishment did Armaan get for abandoning Ruhi at the mandap? Did anyone call out Abhira's insensitive behaviour today? Even previously, Abhira's minor mistakes were covered up and she was always portrayed as right. From the upcoming videos, it is Ruhi who is going to be portrayed as a villain for refusing breast milk for baby and they're going to make her do despicable stuff to the baby to justify Armaan stealing the baby. By this logic, shouldn't we call out the makers for showing Armaan as bechari in this track?

Thank you. I was controlling for so long but this entire baby track has been irritating me for so long, especially as a doctor. The worst part is looking at the spoilers of the upcoming tracks. Instead of correcting the leads' mistakes, the approach taken by the makers is that let's make Ruhi appear more of a villain to cover up the leads' mistakes. Ruhi is supposed to be a villain so we can accept her actions at surface level as she is supposed to be portrayed as wrong. But Abhira and Armaan are supposed to be the main positive leads, so how can their wrong behaviours just be justified and portrayed as correct?

There is no proper villain in dkp shows in family. Apart from so called leads, other characters changes everyday. Look at vidya the way she flipped on abhira Arman wedding to again flip in baby track. Dadisa changing.rohit Character and his indifference for his own baby .

True. It is really disappointing. In YRKKH Gen 1, there were no clear-cut villains and each character had their own and separate arc. Now days, not only YRKKH but for all ITV shows, almost all the tracks revolve around the leads. This is the side effect of that- compromising all the other characters' developments to make the leads suffer and show them as mahaan. But the irony is even the leads' characters are not developed properly. This won't change till TRP of all ITV shows drop even more drastically (while OTT platform viewerships continue to increase) and the ITV makers are forced to change the content of shows to cater for the younger crowd.

In today's episode it was clearly shown how Armaan was almost about to shout on Rohit for sending Abhira to Ruhi's doctor. He was so shit scared about the truth getting exposed. Then how come Rohit is only to be blamed for this kidnapping? Till now it was shown that Rohit is stopping him from telling the truth but today it was shown that Armaan got hyper on Rohit cz he got scared of being exposed whereas yesterday he was feeling all guilty and wanted to confess the truth. His actions do not match his words.

He was literally abondaned humiliated and shunned away by his bro and family did you forgot? Oh tumko yaar rahega hi nhi. And also rumal khand mei bas ar did suffer he almost lost his love chuhi ko kya mila tha her asking for beech ka rashta and all that she did to break there marriage? Kuch nhi Rohit ne us hawasi ladki k aasani se maafi kiya aur bas apne bhai ko saza ki and what about her blackmailing bher jeth on his marriage day and offering him that she will give him bacha which abhira can't give what about that ? Did chuhi pay anything for that no kisi ko pata nhi hei ar ab still forgive her did expose so you can keep on defending that hawasi character still it make any sympathy for they ruhi. The day ehe take accountability of her actions and genuinely realise her past deeds tabhi uske liye kisi kuch feel hona hei. And yes drag ar ab as much as you still it won't make any sympathy for they hawasi character her pati himself don't sympathise with her . Kabhi socha hue kya ki voh uspar uthne b bharosa nhi karta ki seedha uska bacha uthake de diya.
