For me, she was a bad mother the minute she decided to call her child a bojh and send to Abhimanyu, essentially teaching her son to use Abhimanyu, which, let's be real, for a while Abhir did, he did use and throw Abhimanyu, something nobody ever felt bad for, they all felt bad when Abhimanyu chose his peace and walked away from the child, not when the other parents or child did that to him.

@bold: she delibrately did that...so that abhir setlles down at birlas...and does nt face problems...and forgets them...they had to folllow court orders and send abhira there...

waise to manjari ne mayu ko fraud ke case mein jail bhijwa diya tha...she should be the worst ever mom!!!

I had critiqued Akshara the same way earlier, that she took care of her baby, made him strong, but when it came to teaching him good things, Abhinav and her failed as parents when they called him a bojh toh make him go with Abhimanyu since that made sure Abhir would never accept Abhimanyu with love but only with necessity, which is essentially using him. Being good careful and everything during pregnancy doesn't make you an amazing mother if you don't follow through with parenting, and same for opposite, being insecure jealous negative during pregnancy doesn't make you a horrible mother. That comes only with the upbringing. Even drug addicts clean their act to have their baby and then go back to old habits, making them horrible mothers.

The problem is the confusion between "pregnancy care" and "motherhood" is where my issue is. They are not related to each other. If they were, a women in postpartum would be an amazing mother, which isn't always the case, depending on the severity

How Abhira following everything won't make her a amazing mother?Didn't she follow everything for her child to be healthy in her womb? She only cared about her child there unlike Ruhi who is jealous for abhira and baby than caring for Baby.Pregnant woman ko aur kya karna chahiye Amazing mother hone ke liye?Abhinav aur AK ne Abhir ko bojh kaha still Abhir wanted to be with them only till Abhinav was alive .No facilities they provided or presence of his Dadda made him think I don't want to go to mamma pappa again

Imo its impossible to feel bad for Ruhi as a 3rd party observer and audience member. Abhimaan sympathize with her, give her benefit of doubt. No one blamed her for going to find gender because they said she was impacted by the societal pressure in a vulnerable state. Abhira was so forgiving she even decided to let go of her toxic stuff only so that both their kids would grow up happily and without any negativity. She cared about Ruhis health out of insaaniyat, for no secondary gain. But Ruhi could not care less about anything except her pettiness and obsession over wishing ill on Abhira. Thats why as audience I absolutely cannot stand the forced becharification of Ruhi. Her so-called "pain" is not an excuse to say any rubbish she pleases and spew venom. A person's character is shown when faced with crisis or bad times. And Ruhi has repeatedly shown just how pathetic she is. She lacks respect - both for herself and for others around her. She is a scumbag of a person.

Ok she doesn't want Abhiras empathy, she doesn't want to bond with her baby- fair enough. But calling a baby as saamaan and wishing ill on Abhira to "cope" with her grief is the most unhealthy and disgusting behavior. It exposed her asliyat for the nth time.

Mothers are humans. They can make mistakes. They can falter. They learn over time how to take care of their children. But to be a good mother, one first needs to be a decent human being. Infact to be good at any relationship, the first pre-requisite is that you have some degree of insaaniyat. You cannot be a good role model to a child and raise another human being properly when you are a horrible person. And there's no point loving your child to the moon and back, if you lack a moral compass, have no sense of right or wrong because the upbringing you give that child is not going to be good. Period. But if the child is lucky, he will have other positive influences in life or have the innate goodness that shines through and prevents him from becoming corrupted by the toxicity of a parent like Ruhi. Eventually if he grows up to become as entitled, selfish and horrible as Ruhi though, he will also be accountable for his actions. Upbringing alone cant be blamed.

Ruhi is a horrible person. So vile. So disgusting. She has no sense of boundaries, decency. And every decent or good act she has done is purely for self preservation, for her image and for dhong. Not one genuine deed purely out of goodwill she's done as an adult. And that becomes obvious because she flips so often and so easily. Itni dhongi, selfish, pathetic insaan ko uske karmon ka fal milna chahiye. But its kalyug and she's going scotfree thus far. Her paapon ka ghada is filling up fast though.

I'm so tired of seeing only Abhimaan pay for their actions and suffer and people like Vidya, Ruhi get away so easily.

That's the thing.. what Ruhi did were not mistakes. They were not accidental, but deliberate carelessness. How can one forget to take food and medicines properly when literally that’s the only thing you have to do? But nah, Ruhi Birla was busy spying on her jeth-jethani, obsessing over their life and cursing their unborn baby to care about her own child's health. That's not mistake, but negligence. Just proves what sort of a mother she is.

Offcourse Abhir know the people who raised him than anyone else.Because they raised him with all the love in the world. They may called him bhoj infront of him for his benefit as they thought but one word in a moment cannot outweigh whole 6 years they spent for him.

Agreed.

It wasn't accidental, forgeting to take meds or because of any valid reason.

She didn't attend to her own health and her babys well-being was jeopardized purely out of jealousy and negativity.

Whats worse, she was told to stop being petty and focus on whats important - yet she had zero guilt or Fs to give when provided good counsel.

She still continued to do rubbish.

She keeps making bad choices, bad decisions , and everyone has to pay the price. but when faced with the consequences, she chooses to cry victim and blame others. Especially Abhira. Anything that goes wrong is always Abhiras fault because thats so convenient for her.

Her only skill is that she is SO good at manipulating and blaming that people around her in the family actually start accepting blame, feel bad for her and actually start trying to compensate and shower her with empathy.

In every situation where she's screwed up, she got away so so easily whereas anyone else in that position - specifically Abhira or Armaan would have to go through hell.

Thats the most infuriating thing as audience.

If Abhira had not taken meds or ended up getting influenced by people to go check gender of the child and then suffered loss of baby- she would be called manhus, blamed for ruining happiness of family and what not. Kayamat hojaati. Infact she was blamed for a medical condition she had no control over and no knowledge about when infertility reports came.

But when Ruhi does any crap, she still gets all the love and sympathy. She has been told she lost a baby, she's grieving - lets assume its actually "genuine" this time. So is that license to say any rubbish she feels like?

Lets say Abhira is being unreasonable by trying to force her method of coping on to Ruhi- ok granted.

So is that license to curse an innocent baby, wish ill on people , spew venom with no decency.

She can very well make her point without any of this vitriol.

And these are not occasional impulsive reactions which she will regret later. This is who she is. She has no morals and no Fs to give.

Hmm… it’s impossible to feel bad for Ruhi but then Abhira feels bad for her. The math isn’t math-ing.
