There is no logical reason whatsoever for MG to hide this from Suvarna... It's not as if Suvarna has bhar bharke pyaar now for Ab now which will evaporate when she know Ab is Ak's beti or that she has taken any kasam that she can't keep any stuff from Ruhi when she had no qualms about keeping matters from her husband... But show excels in illogicalities, so what can one expect
