In everyday usage , when someone says they feel abhimaan over something or someone, its meant positively. Hence its a great couple name. Because it means pride. And even if there is a degree of "self centricness" to the word which is their "couple name" then its probably nice. They should place each other and their relationship first over others in PH.
I honestly dont care for your sources because you can always find a source to support what you say on the Internet. 🙄 If you don't like the couple name, thats fine. But many of us love it and will continue to do so.
I found this on the internet which matches with exactly what Ar said today.:
""Abhi" means towards, in the direction of and "maan" means "respect" or "esteem". Abhimaan literally means "oriented towards (one's) respect or self respect. In a broader sense it means any or all of the following: feeling proud of oneself, feeling respectful towards one self, self-pride, self-esteem or having a high opinion of oneself.
But I dont understand how people are despising the meaning of "Abhimaan" and on the other hand taking delusionary pride in the origin of Abhira name. Arjun's son's name's meaning is sourced from "Abhiman". The hypocrisy is out of the world.
