My biggest gripe with Gen 4 is how much they have isolated Abhira. Being the FL, she has no idea who her family is, her roots, her culture, nothing. She has no connect with the family legacy and has basically grown up not knowing any relationship except her mother. Even now, she barely has 3 Goenkas + Ruhi who are related out of which Ruhi is out for her life with Swarna & Surekha fully backing her and Manish being a pendulum. Akshara had Shaurya, her maa-bauji, Varsha, dadi, kaki, kakaa, cousins, all of Naitik’s family on her side whereas Naira had Naksh, Naitik, the Singhanias, Maheshwaris and Goenkas along with Lisa (in the Goa track). Akshu had Kairav, Mimi, Goenkas and Sharmas. Post 2nd leap toh even Manyu and Aarohi were on her side along with the Birlas except psycho Manjiri. Abhira has NO ONE but Armaan and that is very unhealthy. Also because of her disconnect with the previous legacy, the show feels like a completely different show than yrkkh, especially with the OTT toxicity of Poddar Parivar.

Even if a grand wedding happens, who exactly is gonna show up from Abhira’s side? Manish Goenka? That’s it. She practically lives in the Poddar House so what baraat and what bidaai? Who is she gonna cry for? Will the Son Chiraiya bgm be played for her and Manish, a man she barely knows yet feels some weird connect with? This is so messed up that Abhira has no real maayka. Abhir is most likely dead, Ruhi wants her destroyed, there is no mention of Kairav & Muskan and their children (who would be her cousins), nothing about her mom’s maternal family … what sort of legacy is this?

Exactly, they should bring singhanias back or atleast bring kairav-muskaan & abhir back...Not sure about abhir taking abhira's side but muskaan will be a huge strength for abhira...Also by bringing kairav and muskaan they can bring the truth behind aarohi's death too...DKP stalkers, are you listening ?

That's not going to happen because they don't have the budget for it.

Kartik was not ruined because he moved on after his wife died cause realistically, it is not a crime to move on and find love again after losing a partner to death. What ruined him was how he completely erased Naira from his memories & their children’s, especially Akshu’s. Akshu deserved to grow up hearing about the woman who birthed her, who went against all odds to be who she was and about her spirit, courage and heart which held immense compassion and love for all, regardless of relationship, status, class, ethnicity, etc. Instead we got her growing up thinking the doppleganger as her mom and then getting a rude shock 12 years later that her mom was someone else with the same face, so all the pictures of Naira that she thought was Sirat’s was Naira’s. Even garlands were not put on Naira’s pictures lest Akshu and Aarohi find out that they are half siblings. Even when Akshu found out, it was Sirat that told her and had that conversation with her, not Kartik and THIS is what actually ruined him for me. He took away Akshu and Naira’s right with what he did and it was disgusting. Even when Akshu said maa for the first time, he didnt remember Naira but it was Sirat who took away the moment for herself. ALLL this crap happened for Sirat and her lineage women to permanently be the grahan in Naira’s lineage women’s lives.
