Rishta ki writing kuch zyada hi aachi ho gayi aj kal. They are showing both Abhira and Armaan's POVs beautifully.

Eloping is not all roses and sunshine. I am glad at least Rishta has a realistic take on it and is not romanticizing it

Abhimaan can still choose to move out after the grand wedding. Or they can shift to Delhi and Armaan can handle the Delhi branch of PF.

KV wanted Armaan to shift to Delhi after Abhimaan's divorce if I remember correctly

This time they can do the same, with everyone on the same page. They can visit on special occasions

People forget what has happened to him in the past. Armaan was outside Abhira's house for 2 days, yet not one of them had the courage to go and be with him or even bring a change of clothes for him for the darr of Dadisa. Even the people who support their marriage (incl Manoj-Manisha, chorus gang, Madhav-Vidya) not one of them is willing to take a stand in front of Dadisa to support him. The last hope he had with Rohit also shattered for Armaan coz he understood that Rohit has deeper issues with him even before Ruhi, jo itni aasaani se resolve nahi hoga. He literally has no one to tie himself to PH andis there right now only because Abhira insists.

I think even Vidya understood that very early on and smartly took the promise from Abhira to nit allow Armaan to leave. Coz she knew that Ab was the only for tying Armaan to PH. Without that for, he will forever be cut off and really wouldn't bother. For everyone assuming that he will blame Abhira afterwards - nope. I don't think so. This Armaansa has given up, and unless he doesn't get some gesture to show that he matters for the P family, this man is really not going to bother prioritising anyone else other than the one person who is his true home - Abhira/Abheera

Every relationship has its good and bad days. Maybe they will hit a rough patch at some point. Maybe he will blame her, not even intentionally, just in an off-handed manner. However, how much in life can you really dwell on what ifs? It is important to see the choices in front of you at the moment, and do what makes the most sense. Right now, that definitely is moving away. There literally is not a single indication of then having a chance to lead a happy, peaceful life in that house, a house that they have both acknowledged is toxic at some point in the show.
