It's perfectly OK to choose your happiness, even if you're tagged as selfish. Anyday better than being a pushover , living under stress & trauma & dealing with issues of joint family every minute... ..trust me most of the women don't have a choice ..abhira should consider herself lucky ..we all know she would wanna land up at rhe same place which is the worst they could do..uptil.now the families were worth it..singhanias , maheshwaris , even goenkas (even though dadi was conservative but she didn't treat her dils like trash) , birlas (they were much better than poddars) but who would wanna live with poddars ?

Nobody undermines the Importance of a family ..by living apart, giving them space & giving yourself space makes a lot of difference ..there's a bleak chance of everyone happy under one roof but with a little distance , the chances multiply.

@bold Exactly KDadi always loved Kittu & never insulted him the way KP does. Kartik had his free will & choices. He was never emotionally abused or called names for following his way or choices. Here Armaan was given toffees till the time he obeyed Dadisa without his own perspective or choices. None of the ML was ever addressed as ganda khoon, galati, paraya etc. Armaan taking a stand for himself & moving out is the best choice he could ever make. Families till now actually loved ML so the efforts of FL to mend relationships worth it but here KP is egoistic, calculative & doesn't at all think about the happiness/wellbeing of her children or grandchildren the way previous matriarch used to. Regarding Abhira not realizing it well she hasn't seen any relationship other than her relationship with her mother, she didn't grow up in a joint family with a positive environment like OG Akshara or Naira so she doesn't realize the importance of healthy relationships. Abhira herself wanted to stay away & leave PH getting tired of blame game & insults most of the times during deal marriage. Now even insults, abuses & curses doesn't affect her anymore. Love made her blind which sets a wrong notion. As love isn't even her priority her priority is family or her promise to Vidya.

@red If Poddars have Manisha chachi, Manoj chachu and chorus gang only then she can live but Poddars also include her emotional atyachari sasumaa, mute papa & most of all KP who hates her, these three people know which strings to pull at what time.
