That is pre leap na! Post leap toh wo teek thi.. she was one of the few to confront mata manjiri! But even pre leap arohi owned up to what she did even when she was doing it. Ruhi justifies what she does, doesn't even think that what she is doing is wrong and the goenkas literally accept everything she does and justifies it themselves. Talk about spoiling a child without parents and they just took it to a whole another level.

She is a doormat too. She speaks up but then goes back to being desperate for toffees.

Right now, Abhira has no authority to speak within the family.

Iss family ko Armaan ki kadar nhi hai, Abhira ki kyu hogi. If they were married I would have understood her involving in family matters.

Rohit ki chodo, like I said and Armaan also said today he'll back off if that's what is Rohit's Khushi. But Armaan needs to take a time out from KP! A proper going away wala time out. And Abhira needs to tell Vidya that if she can't throw in ONE sane word between her fighting sons, she has no right to hold Abhira to her word or promise of keeping Armaan home!!

The thing is, narrative wise I get why both Armaan and Abhira are so needy about the approval and acceptance from the "family", even if I do not agree with them. However, as a viewer it is just becoming exhausting.

If they have to play hum saath saath hain after a few days, which I know that they will, they REALLY need to tone done the negativity. Families being upset and angry is fine. But constant pushing, taunts of sautela and ganda khoon is getting to hard to come back from. There has to be a line somewhere.

Armaan was trying to ask her to stop defending him but she ignored him and continued to talk. Today as well in prior episode where dadi asks him to choose. She said kisi ko toh bolna padega tumhaare liye kyunki you don't. She's showing him not to tolerate disrespect because people are upset. While she is acknowledging he messed up, and she is asking him to be patient with Rohit, she's NOT standing for disrespect and bad behavior, bias of kaveri and VM etc. she's called out their unfair treatment to Armaan. In BTS she's confronting VM for abandoning Armaan since Rohit came, forgetting all about him. She also says she has no standing, no one cares about her pov but the two of them have more say, more clout. Their opinion matters more. She will not separate Armaan from his family because all said and done, they are his khoon. Some of them may spew crap but fact is he is biologically related. She will never focus on shaadi now when there is so much bitterness and negativity having already married once in bad circumstances and seen it fail spectacularly. Abhira is completely consistent, logical and on point in the way she's behaving.

Exactly this......It would look so bad if Armaan accepts toffee from KP after she has called him these names.

He'll stop looking for his family's approval/validation the day he turns down a toffee from her. XD I want to see this happen.
