To be honest Abhira is insecure in her place in that family and Armaan life. Roohi constantly reminding her in front of Armaan about their deal marriage and how fake it is , how This is not her family and Armaan Never refuting once. Armaan has never given her assurance that this is now your family. this family if she is behaving as per their liking then they all like her even the cousins are like that when she doesn't take their side to avoid family conflict and minding her own business then they are ready to accuse her and guilt trip her how her husband is changing and supporting her against family but not his cousins and making him out as paraya. None of the family yet speak up to let her dine with them or join her she is still making them food and eating alone in her room. Caring for her when she is hurt is basic manners none of them has ever shown her any sympathy or console her for her mother's death and all the trauma she has went through. Yes we have been shown their care for her but as Armaan wife not as individual and that to has never been expressed to her. So her assumption are not dar off that they will care for her as loss of Armaan wife be sad may be for few days but it doesn't make much difference in their life even for Armaan as there is no everlasting love or even affection between them she is just burdensome jimmedari and promise but Roohi's death definitely will have huge impact on both families.

We need to remember that we entered their home. And after 20 plus yrs of raising in another environment. So they too have some morals principles rules regulations these many yrs more than our age. Immediately after entering into that house if we shout in entrance dont talk about my mother of family. Every issue my mother, my moms parvarish , my family if hyped and given gyan to them who will give us anything. They say in anger then go stay there only why stay here. Eating their food staying in comfortable life given by them and taunt them is wrong. And as per their age they will never change their style or mind set any day. Are we changing for them with what they said to be in that house. Na. This is the adjustment in another house adapting to other family accepting them as ours and build relationships without fighting with them. If its a nuclear family its ok. Its all upto how hubby and wife want to be together. But in joint family ypu need to be careful holding all relations without losing your self respect. If you give respect to relations or people you too get it. Do what you can to that family whole heartedly they will love you more.

I personally don't think she is trying to portray the Poddars in bad light.

Thing is, she and Armaan are in a contract marriage where she is supposed to leave once she becomes a lawyer.

And now she saw those papers, as well.

For all she knows, his family members are nice w her only because she is Armaan's wife and, once that relationship is gone, they'll stop caring about her (see Virat's mother's change in behaviour towards Sai after he married Pakhi), so she is trying to avoid getting attached because otherwise, leaving them all will hurt all the more.

Her constant in most of her convos w Armaan is that she's supposed to leave one day.

I think she keeps saying it as a reminder to herself to avoid getting attached... although she has already failed big time, as we saw, since she fell for Pendulum Sa.

The only relationship she had growing up was her mumma and now she lost her.

I think she might not want to get used/attached emotionally to someone due to the fear of loosing and ending up alone again. Jmo

She knows Vidya/Manisha/Madhav/Manoj/Kajal and the cousins like and consider her part of the family, but if she let's herself get too carried away with this feeling, when she knows there is no love from Armaan's side (yet, at least), what will she do the day she has to leave PH?

I wouldn't say putting them in bad light, but I agree Abhira needs to stop thinking she's alone.

Madhav just given her the title of calling her his daughter, Vidya given her the family bangles which I just realize she was wearing, when Armaan took it off and the all the cousins give her equal love as a friend and bhabhi and her bond with Manisha chachi. So I hope going forward after calling them family in the last episode, we don't hear that comment again

Dadi bhi aisi koi buri nahi hai. Unki and abhira ki soch/actions match nahi karte par woh bhi uska bura nahi chahti hai.

Sirf ek fufa ko dil se bilkul pasand nahi hai.

I get it it’s all a build up for future heart break but sach batao toh bohat zyaada cringe lag raha hai..

At least Ruhi clearly knows Ar still has feelings for her, she always says humare pyaar ke liye lado Ar and he doesn’t reject her words and obliges. Toh uska sapne dekhna utna cringe nahi lagta.. in ab’s case it’s just all her presumption toh her day dreaming and doing unnecessary cat fights with ru is coming off as very ott.

1. She presumed that Ar was coming to save her first, Ar didn’t say anything in fact she herself started the bashan ki jaake Ruhi ko bachao

2. Today she again presumed ko Ar wants to stay with her and was giggling when he said ki jab man hoga tab jake papers banwa lunga.. kuch bhi

Wasn’t she the one who felt guilty for chitwali? You know Diya, when that episode came, for once I thought ki kuch alag toh hai ab mein but nahi… she is not even remembering about ar’s ex… Ar might have said that it’s past but she at least have think once na before dreaming..

Others might differ but imo they have already started the degrading and butchering of ab’s character.. she was supposed to be a sensible and smart character but currently is shown as dumb girl in her la la land who can’t equate 2+2.
