I think in her bhajan singing scene he was amused that she can sing also..

Its like finding one more quality and appreciative look ki wow she could sing and sing so good..

This was a beautiful scene. On one side, Abhira singing the legacy O Kanha. On the other side, Armaan admiring his wife, so captivated by her voice and presence. This is how scenes would look if the creatives actually bother to put some effort.
