I never gave much importance to Armaan..

And Abhimaan1.0 was also very good..and I never liked Armaan1.0 individual scene be it his climbing up stairs or crying,I would like to say shivering...he used to cry on drop of hat,who would have said that he is the eldest calm composed son..

I never liked those individual scenes so I didn't cared enough...

But RP is forcing me to like Armaan also

To understand his pov..

To see armaan beside AbhiMaan...

As an individual..

Becoz his individual protrayal is also strong..

Hus scenes alone andother cast also comes out nicely..

And he will in more atune with dialogues mentioning his character sketch...

Be it Vidya saying in initial days...ki mera armaan shant hai..

Be it abhira saying someone cool as cucumber and introduction shot of armaan..

Be it abhira calling him dadaji,khadoosman..

Someone who likes to keep things at place like a an adult of early 30s..

Be of someone who is no-nonsense,intense brooding personailty as abhira's collegemates once described armaan...

Be family members getting hairan over his childishness becoz he never behaved with childish..

I mean why the hell even they cast shehzada,he was not as their version of Armaan..

I am not saying he was worst..he did a good job in portraying his version of Armaan..

But it was hus versionit was not the writer's..

yes ..he brought a certain flavour to the scenes with Sam..no denying ..but I personally never connected with the way he interpreted Armaan..I think the actor simply did not have the maturity for a more nuanced portrayal ..he thought vulnerable meant crying and lips trembling ..and I am thinking that the director was so tired after a point, he just let him do what he wanted ..because they have crazy deadlines and delivery schedules..

Thats why I used to think why they make armaan cry so much

Now I get why they do..becoz shehzada was not capable of showing vulnerability without ajeeb si crying..

@bold ideally the portrayal should be a marriage of both ..that is when the character clicks ..I think Shahi wanted someone low budget ..and since Shehzada was a Tiktoker, he had built a fanbase. Shahi might have thought ki isse kaam chalalenge..if the delulu duo had not ruined the work atmosphere, he would’ve still gone on with them because the show was already getting decent TRPs

Actually rajan himself said ki actor 19-21 ho farak nhi padta..

And yeah many actors are not able to completely portray writer's version but they make their version so likeable and popular by their hardwork...but these delusional duo
