I just hope they dont go the ghums1 path and show miserable Abhira like Sai. Literally Sai got no respite. she just kept on getting treated badly every frickin day and few lollipops sprinkled in between. I really hope RS will give us better content. I cant bear to see miserable Abhira for too long. Let her have some family support from Poddars who arent ungrateful or insensitive, some friends, some support system.

Guys did you watch the new bts of Abhira with the water drum? Maira sirf ek sawal hai, kya zaroorat thi iss scene ko recreate karne ki?… pata nahi makers ko kya maza aata hai apni creations ka mazak banate hue… and tbh koi bhi real life mein aise drum mein muh nahi dalta… kya pata paani saaf ho ya nahi, skin infections ho sakti hai… kuch bhi dikhate hai makers🤦‍♀️

I am not holding any hopes! But it is possible, depending upon the TRP!

But that show was toxic on another level, & this gen is still less toxic than OG.if we leave out the pain in the @$$ triangle which I am finding intolerable bcz of Armaan’s indecisiveness & pendulum behaviour, this show is stil watchable.

i dont think so. I dont think that the way to create drama or TRP is to show toxic characters or red flags or pendulums. there are so many ways to create drama without triangle also. There are enough parallel characters in the plot and MUs can be simply from different POVs and without cringe triangle stuff.

Based on what I read s1 and most of s2 of the show survived without triangle but I think somewhere in s2 and s3 they landed on this triangle being center of the plot and now s4 mein bhi same.

Yrkkh S1 and S2 won't work in today's ITV. ITV today thrives on toxic characters. There has been so so many shows where the leads and the family were good characters but the show did not work. I don't blame the show makers when audience wants to see shows with toxic characters. They have no option to show this. 1ML and 2 FL is almost every show since 2-3 years. There is a reason makers are bringing shows like this because Television audience wants to see that.

Nahi yaar. I don't think audience has changed so much that they crave toxicity. They crave drama,twists/turns, conflict but not cringe or toxicity . audience is merely consuming whats being given. If there is a conscious decision to provide better content, people will accept it.

Infact now toh people have enough options in terms of content - web shows and so many platforms. So thats overall trps are way lower than years ago when everyone consumed tv. Max trp now is in 2-3 range but pehle toh bahut high tha

They really need to go back to providing good content. Blaming audience for regressive content is not fair.

If you see star plus shows they are essentially remakes of regional shows and heavily inspired by each other.

Gen 4 is heavily inspired by ghums1. Ghum s2 is heavily inspired by shaurya anokhi + their own template of toxic male. Jhanak inspired by imlie s1.

TMD, ghum, Imlie are all remakes of bengali shows.

So there's no original content.

They are simply packaging same thing in new box with some mix and match.

Aise mein audience kya hi karegi?!

I think its a cute scene yaar. She's got conflicted emotions. She thinks a plunge in water will help settle her butterflies and nerves and get her to think straight. I definitely wash my face with cold water to clear my mind. This is the dramatic ITV version of the same thing. 😊
