Yes..CINTAA is definitely a powerful enough forum that will take up an actor’s case if they find the grievance genuine. Like I have already said, Shahi is no fool. He has been around for close to two decades and is fully aware of the legal repercussions of his actions. He must have a battery of lawyers to advise him on how to deal with the situation. What galls me is that these two got a break that many people dream of. Mumbai is a land of strugglers and Lokhandwala is full of aspirants hoping for that one break that will give them a chance to live their dreams. Despite getting an opportunity that so many would give an arm and a leg for, they allowed their hormones or attitude or whatever to play havoc. If actors can enjoy all the glory and limelight and adulation, then they should be prepared for the cameras to focus on their faults too. Maybe they will learn from their mistakes and if they are supremely lucky, maybe there will be other chances. But this is a lesson they had to learn the hard way.

That they didn't improved their attitude after so many warnings..

I mean,they seriously had to be nuts to ignore so many warnings thats also by their producer...

Fault must be them otherwise channel itself haven't allowed the dkp to remove the male lead of their 3rd ranker trp show and most popular jodi like this...

Thats why I still feel,that all this tantrum,attitude,dating,getting late,baat isse bhi badi hai which they are covering up...its just tip..

Upar se its second day who wouldn't take stand for them,they have gone complete MIA...

Then isn't there something to be said about how exploitative these contracts are? ITV casts minors in romantic adult roles. They have no regulation into work hours whether for well-paid actors or blue-collar crew. They pay irregularly.

Like a commenter above said, these producers look out for each other, have associations while weakening actors/technichians' unions.

Airing and throwing someone's personal life through the PR meat-grinder is not "teaching a lesson." Loss of livelihood is a big enough punishment lol

Due process is there so that employees don't get exploited. They could have very well terminated them professionally and without the "Pratishtha, Parampara, Anushashan" shtick. This could have been a letter, an email, an office memo fowarded on the office group lol. An official statement about their termination mentioning no-tolerence towards mistreatment of the crew instead of "leaks" insinuating stuff about someone's sex life. No reputable company would let "makeup room mein jaate the" become a thing of public discussion.

This entire thing being milked by PR to generate new interest in the show while two people's personal and professional well-being is forever screwed is beyond shitty.

Shahi had money to risk by firing two main actors in a jiffy but couldn't get his HR or assistant to type two termination letters with notice period while he finds replacement? Woah.

I have hardly seen employees get termination letters with a notice period. It is always termination on the spot, and they are asked to leave the company premises within 15-20 minutes. I have seen in MNCs guards following the terminated employee until they don't leave the company premises.

The notice period comes into play when employees quit the job, and then the employer also has the option of deciding if they want the employee to work until the notice period or not.

As per the news, they did get warnings for their unprofessional behavior, and even if they did not, the PH can't be held responsible for it. Not every job gives you warnings before terminating your contract.

Also, I am 100% sure that they got the termination letter as well, and HR was in the meeting. Having said that, a meeting with the whole cast and crew could and should have been avoided.

A meeting with the HR doesn't involve an audience and further PR smear campaigns aimed to slùtshame someone. But that's just my experience. By law, people deserve a show-cause period in case of involuntary termination even if notice period is not mandatory.

He called neeting and disclosed news of termination in front of all but in termination letter which would be a legal document,reasons would definetely have mentioned..

Otherwise actors can approach CINTA...I am not saying ki CINTA would hsve listened to them cent percent but even for show off,we still in a country with laws and on paper everbody had to maintain it...

He put a lot of many at risk by removing 2 almost important characters of a triangle one ML other PL..

First of all future of show already went in jeopardy as well as production cost increased becoz of doing work up of passed 5 months which they had to use for future...

What producer in sane mind and just to show him GOD does this and which channel allows the production to replace their trp topper show male lead in few hours not to forget currently an integral part of their loved jodi...

If to hire new face they need channel approval than sacking would also need it..

Upar se one more bigshot producer coming in support..

God knows what the hell he did,now also I am feeling that rajan had gave execuses which can still be covered up in future if the both will learn a lesson..

Otherwise they seem to have done something unimaginable which coupd have just blacklisted them....

In all this, I am sad about just one thing. By the time Armaan and Ruhi’s truth comes out and it is time for them to face consequences, the faces would’ve changed. My dream of seeing OG Armaan and OG Ruhi kicked out of Poddar Mansion by Kaveri Poddar will remain a dream :(
