I didn't embolden your muhawara, must be a glitch. And I don't mind them being fired either. That said, I couldn't care about the show or what they should have done while due process was followed. Due process is there so that employees don't get exploited. They could have very well terminated them professionally and without the "Pratishtha, Parampara, Anushashan" shtick. This could have been a letter, an email, an office memo fowarded on the office group lol. An official statement about their termination mentioning no-tolerence towards mistreatment of the crew instead of "leaks" insinuating stuff about someone's sex life. No reputable company would let "makeup room mein jaate the" become a thing of public discussion.

This entire thing being milked by PR to generate new interest in the show while two people's personal and professional well-being is forever screwed is beyond shitty.

Shahi had money to risk by firing two main actors in a jiffy but couldn't get his HR or assistant to type two termination letters with notice period while he finds replacement? Woah.

Lol, this is workplace abuse 101. Misconduct has to be referred to HR, investigated, and due action taken. They could have been suspended while they investigated or given a negative character certificate upon termination.

These ad hominen attacks are precisely ad hominen attacks. People who are "leaking from sets" and are on the employers' payroll while these two are not. Pratiksha(?) was fired for non-performance according to reports. What is the metric of assessing something subjective like acting? Is it a quarterly assessment? Was it fairly done? Was she given a notice period to look for other jobs so that she doesn't starve to death or become homeless in a city like Mumbai?

If these two were fired for dating or inappropriate workplace behaviour then that would definitely open up wrongful termination/workplace discrimination suits lol. Makeup room mein jaate the amounts to nothing lol.They should have been reported, investigated and fired if needed after a due process.

Actors have dated and even gotten married while working on this show. If it were the FL and ML dating, the production would have milked it to death for promotion.

I say this as someone who stopped watching this show because Armaan is an utterly spineless snoozefest.

One of the main reason of termination is fraud. I maybe wrong but I think they haven't done such a thing. They shouldn't have been subjected to such insult. The girl can't act, is not a good enough reason to terminate her contract in such an insulting way.

They could have asked her to join some acting classes and warned that if she doesn't improve, they won't think twice before replacing her.

The people who said ok to her acting during auditions should be taken to task. What was the need to give her such a humiliating exit? Or atleast for her they could have quietly replaced her. Not make a spectacle of her.

As far as bad behaviour is concerned, success does affect people. They should have taken him off months back if there was friction right from the mahabaleshwar track.

There are other ways you can show that you care for the staff. They could have rebuked him, insulted him in front of the staff or warned that they will remove him if he doesn't turn a new leaf, if he was being high headed. Why to make their life a laughing stock in front of people? People can go really cheap while gossiping about others.

The dating thing is also foolish cos in their circles it's common. I think gen2 and gen3(not sure) leads were also dating when they were working on the show. Even og ghum actors were dating before getting married.

If they are wasting other's time then they surely need to be given an exit but not in such an insulting manner. Unless it's fraud, such an exit is really bad and it gives bad precedent to the society.

ITV serials run for years and their one month salary is almost equal to the yearly salary of a middle class person. These two should have been more grateful but still giving them such an exit just seems very sad and unfortunate.

I can understand not tolerating misbehaviour at work place for which they had to lose their jobs but to make them a public spectacle, is not right.

Producers have an association, artists don't. We know how they get together and have an upper hand, they are punching down as it is, even in that everyone is acting like these two are some criminals.

People make mistakes and learn from it

Well their contract have exclusive termination clause wherein most of the power of termination with immediate effect lies with 1st party as in DKP, hence it would not be an issue, but of the same has been done publicly, it is to teach a lesson to them and warning to other in PH, and the warning is not only for actors but for crew also, it became big, because today the center was around main leads.
