Maybe Armaan still has some lingering feelings for Ruhi. But does he intend to work on it? No. His care for Ruhi 2 episodes back looked quite ordinary to me. In the morning Armaan and Ruhi had a confrontation about Ruhi trying hard but unable to move on. Moreover, her heart breaks everytime he takes a stand for Abhira who is just his responsibility but he never stood up for his love. It ended up with Ruhi accusing him of having fallen in love with Armaan. Armaan rejected the very idea but questioned her back why did she feel so. He wants to know what brought her to this conclusion. Evening comes and Vidya asks him to look after Ruhi as no one is around.
He sees her unable to pour herself a glass while hysterically coughing(to emphasise how sick she is) of water and rushes to help her. He was genuinely concerned about Ruhi. Does he still have feelings for her? Well that is ambiguous. He does find himself responsible for Ruhi's condition. His guilt of not being able to make things alright is eating him up daily. Since no one was at home he took care of her. He didn't think it was crossing the boundary. Had that been the case he would have felt guilty like the time he felt after the cottage episode. He felt guilty for skipping the treat by Abhira and apologised for the same as soon as she came.
The point being is Armaan is definitely not a cheater nor is an immoral man. He will never work on immoral thoughts. He knows that she is his brother's wife and time and again has drawn the boundaries. But at the same time he knows Ruhi is emotionally unstable and is undergoing therapy. At times like these he cannot be firm with her. Otherwise he wouldn't have been firm with her during the Christmas party when he had stronger feelings for Ruhi.
My point is not Armaan being shown as a two timer or EMA thing. I get it. I don't really agree with people when they say they he is doing EMA and stuff like that. He isn't doing it coz neither his marriage with Abhira is real nor they have any feelings.
My only point is why are they showing unnecessary Ruhaan scenes which aren't moving the story forward? Last week I understood. They wanted Ab to catch them. So that bangle scene, dance scene, etc was bearable. But the sick Ruhi track was lame af. It served no purpose. Those kinda scenes just leave a bas taste in the mouth which linger when we get good Abhimaan scenes also.
