They have to! He's the ML and they can't destroy him completely before pyaar even starts.

They have to have a safety net for him. Otherwise its a big production cost and loss for them

Abhira ka papa single piece tha. Galti se Rishta mein aa gaya. Even Rishta makers couldn't create another character like that

Characters like him don't really exist in ITV. He was a gem of a person and one of a kind. He was the redeeming quality/Character of previous gen. Otherwise that season is super toxic
