Why be mad at Armaan? He is absolutely correct

I don't know why are people getting mad at Armaan for thinking Abhira is not his family. They have been married at max 2-3 weeks. His family barely tolerates Abhira. He is at max her roommate cum guardian. Why would Abhira or Poddars consider each other as family. Their marriage has an end date of one year. It wouldn't be fair story pov to show Abhira already considering Poddars or Armaan her family. It has to be a gradual process of lots of trials and tribulations to reach that stage for Abhira to leave and Armaan and Poddars to let Abhira leave. It should be painful for them. Seeing the year slowly Abhira making place in their hearts, minds and souls and for the Poddars to show that love, tenderness and care of a loving family for them to call each other family. It will be satisfying to see that. Abhira getting a big fat Indian family with a rainbow of relationships like Grandparents, parents, aunts & uncles and cousins to bond over with especially Kaveri as Dadi. It would be very illogical for them to show Abhira and Armaan considering each other as family for whom you would do anything so early without any build up or history.

Though poddar family treats Abhira horribly and Armaan doesn't deserve her, but the person we are mad at is mainly Akshara . What was she thinking before asking her only child to marry a man she doesn't know much about.

Kaandmaata 2, of course original kaandmata is Roohi's poppy's manjari maa but Akshara is definitely a close second. Sometimes I wonder uss manhoos din in the bus if Abhinav hadn't met her, Abhinav would have been alive.

It looks like Armaan has and idea of who and what Abhira was as a person, but she has no idea how Armaan lives his life or how the Poddar family works.

they are definitely far from being each other’s family, but their care and concern will for each other will draw them closer

like in the precap, Armaan doesn’t like it when Abhira mentions the one year contract, it hurts him somewhere

Well Akshara ans Abhira were not able to save themselves? Yuvraj kidnapped her twice and nothing happened. He was sent to jail but again came back. And whenever she used to see him she used to get scared. She would have kept running all her life to get rid of Yuvraj.

Also, she would have ended up marrying him, if Armaan wouldn't have reached there on time. She needs more time to get matured and become completely self-independent.

I just feel he's just taken aback or feels a bit bad because he said to Abhira that she isn't his family, and she said she's only here for one year. I feel abhira feel little bit upset but I don't get that vibe from armaan hearing one year contract.

Ditto.Don't undderstand why some are thinking Armaan is feeling bad because he has got soft corner for her already. To me Armaan seems to feel bad as he realized that he might have hurt Abhira with his own dialogue which he just said that Abhira is not his family .

It is true that it will take a whole lot for them to trully become family and it will be a good treat for the audience but to constantly remind each other is like putting salt on a wound and very petty specially on the part of Armaan as Abhira has no one in this world. Even if they do not end up being together after one year it is very insensitive to say blunt dialogues like that.
