The hate was unjustified in any case. But it's even more unjustified if she is supposedly happy because of Abhi's rejection.

Exactly....that is the bottom line. The hate from Ak became unjustified and dragged out quite a long time back. She had the moral high ground right after WD and even up to the first Kasauli visit when they met again after 6 years. But after that everything felt like forced hate being dragged out for the heck of it for every random point.....and a totally forced angle of hiding Abhir's truth at any cost for so long for very lame reasons. Then even after the truth being out, still torturing Abhi and blaming him for forced reasons day in and day out.....that's all this leap was.....lol but in all this what was constant was Abhira interaction even in the form of forced blames and hates.....that ensured that story will always loop back to them - everything else was just a sideshow no matter how much they showed every character glorifying Nav like some living god

Abhira were always destined no matter how much Ak fought destiny....and most of this leap has been about her forcibly fighting destiny and relentlessly punishing Abhimanyu.

They didn't have the capacity to write any better conflict than this, that's all....lol there is no deep meaning or reason to it beyond that about any cross ships.

What Abhi did on WD was horrible and Akshara’s anger is very justified. However her carrying that anger to her future as a mom and hiding the baby they both had many dreams about is just wrong on so many levels. You lost your husband, but your child deserves to have his fathers identity. Also, she could have again tried when Bade Papa came to get her saying I’m still pregnant and Abhi doesn’t care then for sure Bade Papa would have taken her with him so she wouldn’t struggle in the pregnancy alone. Her changing Abhir’s father doesn’t fit in with the Akshara personality, like I remember when she found out she was pregnant- she was so happy that her Abhi will become a Papa more than the fact that she will become a mom. Just like when Akshara having risky pregnancy came out, Abhi was only focused on her pain, not the fact that he won’t be a father either. So you show a couple like this and then have child hiding, female lead saying she will never allow father to be in child’s life like you just changed your own characters .

Abhi must have been excited after back-to-back rejections. But look at this Akshara. Just yesterday, she said she can't replace Abhinav. And now she is like wow, I have a secret admirer, let me go meet him.

So true. We all went from supporting AK to totally on AB side cause one he realized his mistake and tried to correct it, two he always loved AK and never found a substitute, third no matter what he put AK feeling first but AK went on and on bashing him showing no empathy more so cause she was different to everyone else and saved her worse for AB. She really tortured him by rubbing Nav and her oh so perfect family on him knowing very well how much it meant to AB.

See to me it would have made sense if she did this but in the private hours of her own house/room you showed she was feeling bad about it later. Then audience could have connected with her as well. But I honestly think its just lazy writing to try and shut off one character's thought process in the attempts to make the character be "unpredictable" to try and draw audience to come and watch what will happen next and how will X person react. You may get away with it a couple of times but later when the default behavior is just anger upon anger it makes things worse. And doesn't make the character very likable.

It is clear up to the point of the accident and mandir confess there was a story and then suddenly it just shifted and it became the mess it became.

Anyways we are finally getting Abhira focus tracks and I am just going to enjoy whatever time we have left with the show.
