But what Ak wants is in the past now and she is still holding onto the past, while what Abhi wants is in the future and he wants to make sure nothing spoils that.

They didn't officially cancel Abrogi, so scope is still there. And swarna said that Abrogi didn't get much time together so they might pursue that option of sending them on dates or whatever . But right now, Manjari seems clear that she doesn't want to force anyone so Abhi won't be forced, which means not much is going to happen without some other catalyst.

LOL I seriously doubt that.....Abhi is not some kid that Swarna can send him on dates. He only ever listened to Manju a bit on that front....Swarna toh has even less of a shot

What time is left to spend now when everyone knows Abhir is his son? As if Arohi doesn't know that Abhi's every thought is either for Abhir or Ak or Ruhi.....Swarna seems to be in some lala land of the past where Abhir didn't exist in Abhi's life....as if they all didn't see live demo in Kasauli of who Abhi was spending all his time around even when Arohi was there.

I think that was just a token dialogue given to Swarna....isn't gonna go anywhere....maybe makers still want to keep it in their backpocket but clearly the fact that they could have such a detailed discussion about Abhira ki shaadi without the Arohi engagement even being a factor....doesn't leave scope for much there. Ak's reason for saying no also wasn't that Arohi is engaged to Abhi....her reason was that she wants to stay Nav ki widow.....No one remembers that engagement other than for the sake of token drama discussions.

No, I think since Nav's death and her having gotten Abhi out of jail, Ak's Nav jaap hasn't been about putting Abhi down....it has been more about overcompensating to show loyalty towards Nav out of the guilt of not being able to move forward with him as much as she wanted

When he was alive, Ak used Nav to cut down Abhi by constantly comparing her two marriages....but once he died and she also got over her blind hate for Abhi, she hasn't been doing that anymore. Now she hails Nav in general out of the need to prove herself as a devoted grieving widow

This argument frankly just sounds like makers laid out all the points they read in the tag and made the characters go over them on a general level without any resolution per se.....just keeping all balls in the air as usual

So it was a move by makers to keep her clean

They still gave such promo

Why will he misunderstood her friendship

To clean Akshara's image

They are showing him in bad light through promos

As for Abhira....lol if they actually become genuine enough friends like they are claiming to, then maybe he can work up the guts to ask her why she wrote off their whole marriage and past over the WD fiasco. I dunno why they show him keep wondering about that when it doesn't go anywhere....Ak will never give him a straight answer and will likely just gaslight him again if he asks....she will never admit what she has done wrong.

Yeah, I still have hope yaar, that's why I am watching. I think Abhira friendship is plateauing right now, and I don't see much more happening here except for them randomly getting closer without accepting it. Abhi won't ask about the past because as he said "house of cards". He knows how fragile this whole thing with Ak is. Its def not a real friendship for either of them.

As for the papa thing, neither Ak nor Abhir have any self reflection unless something forces them to reflect. Either both of them will know Abhi's value all at once - like if he has an accident or something. Or Abhir will just randomly start calling Abhi papa. But that has to be the next track if they want to move the story along.
