Ak's rejection was not for Abhi, but it still felt that way. Abhi might not be in that place anymore, but its hard to ignore that her entire Nav jaap has always been to put down Abhi and show that their relationship wasn't as good. Abhi also said in the end that it would be wrong, so I think he is also thinking in the same way that she is a widow and it would be wrong to go in that direction.

No, I think since Nav's death and her having gotten Abhi out of jail, Ak's Nav jaap hasn't been about putting Abhi down....it has been more about overcompensating to show loyalty towards Nav out of the guilt of not being able to move forward with him as much as she wanted

When he was alive, Ak used Nav to cut down Abhi by constantly comparing her two marriages....but once he died and she also got over her blind hate for Abhi, she hasn't been doing that anymore. Now she hails Nav in general out of the need to prove herself as a devoted grieving widow

But as always, her words are one thing and her actions are another.....

This argument frankly just sounds like makers laid out all the points they read in the tag and made the characters go over them on a general level without any resolution per se.....just keeping all balls in the air as usual

Episode was good. I did skip some Ak stuff, but overall good episode which sorted out a lot of points for everyone.

Abhir called up docman about the party and both Abhira were extremely awkward. Abhir was like " dono hamesha jaghte rehte hai"... Next day, Abhi drops off ruhi and meets Ak while she is dropping off Abhir. Abhir hugs Ruhi and Ruhi says why are you hugging without any reason. So he said cause I am your brother and brother sister can hug. Abhi chimed in, not just brother sister, anyone can hug.

Then Abhira had an awkward convo about the hug and both got on the same page that it was just the excitement of the moment. Ak said we are friends and stuff like this happens with friends. Then they talked about how they were acting immature like teenagers about the hug. Ak said she only acts like a child with Abhi, otherwise she can be very mature. Abhi also said same, everyone thinks I am mature but with you I become very childish.

They talked about their relationship, how through all the fights they have gotten to a stable point. Abhi said before our relationship was like a waterfall and now its like a calm lake. Ak just nodded. Then both got in their cars. Abhi thought to himself, that even if it was like a waterfall was that bad? Maybe it was? Was it? And then he just tells himself not to think about the past and focus on present.

Abhi's car stops working so Ak gives him a ride home. That's when they see BP talking about their rishta. Both say No no no. BP asks Ak specifically why she is saying no and she says cause she was married to Nav a few months ago. Abhi goes to his room and Ak leaves.

The elders talk about all the issues. Arohi-Abhi issue, they discuss and basically all agree that it was a marraige of compromise and no one seemed happy in it. The relationship never progressed beyond engagement and even Abrogi never behave like a couple. On the other hand Abhira and Abhir behave like a family and they complete each other. Ruhi issue was brought up too. I don't think Abrogi is off the table yet, some of the people are still unconvinced. Surekha said that they didn't get a chance to connect because of Abhir. She was like if Abhi marries Ak, then is Ruhi supposed to call her poppy her masa? (Same argument can be given for Abhir).

Basically right now Surekha and Swarna are team Abrogi. BP, mimi, and Birlas are team Abhira. Manjari was asked and she said she always wanted Abhira from the beginning, but now she doesn't want to force the kids into anything and she will just let them decide.

In the end, Abhi was shown holding a pic of him and the kids face up, while Ak was shown holding a pic of her, abhir and Nav face down. So its to show what they both want. But what Ak wants is in the past now and she is still holding onto the past, while what Abhi wants is in the future and he wants to make sure nothing spoils that.

I doubt she would do much. They might have some small discussion about it, but most likely they won't even discuss it. I think today they were awkward about the hug and all, but still both understood that the other person wasn't reading into it. Same way, with this also, both said No together. So I think at most, they might express frustration about the elders together, or they will just not talk about it.

So that is a given. Then maybe they will talk about Abrogi again and that will be the catalyst. Or some hatsa which makes Ak realize her love. Abhi as of now will need some convincing.

I think he is trying not to think about their past right now, but if they were to ever get together again he will have questions for her. Even today he was like, was that relationship really bad? Because she called it umar kaid and all, so he is confused now. But choosing not to think about all of that.

LOL wait, you still have hope for that?.....What miraculous feat is left for Abhi to achieve to suddenly get Abhir to call him Papa? Sab kuch toh kar diya hai bande ne but the kid is in his own lala land....and makers in general seem to have mostly sidelined the Abhi-Abhir equation again these days and are focusing on Abhira drama again....but yeah if they have reached a plateau with this friendship thing, maybe they can do something about Abhirmanyu again.

As for Abhira....lol if they actually become genuine enough friends like they are claiming to, then maybe he can work up the guts to ask her why she wrote off their whole marriage and past over the WD fiasco. I dunno why they show him keep wondering about that when it doesn't go anywhere....Ak will never give him a straight answer and will likely just gaslight him again if he asks....she will never admit what she has done wrong.
