Seriously, to what extent can you go to support a stupid narrative?

Do you really think it's alright to go to a hospital and misbehave with an on-duty doctor? Were these your opinions before this show began, or only because Abhi is a doctor, now your opinions have changed on all doctors?

They are just doing their job; they can totally be manhandled by people if said people are in grief; they shouldn't react to anyone blaming them or mentally pressuring them before an operation; their mental health doesn't matter cause they just have to do the job - the job being saving a life.

And yes, if someone saved your life once, you should be forever thankful to them. It's the basic thing you can do. Esp when that person went through hell to save you, cause guess what? Surgery is really stressful and requires a ton of training to be able to do, and doing it with the pressure of a loved one's expectations is insane.

Like what are your expectations here? Doctors are humans, you know. And the way the Goenkas have treated Abhi has been abysmal.

Neither me nor anyone else was talking about doctors “expecting” gratitude from others. Its just decent response which people have towards them!

When have any of us said that Abhimanyu should “expect gratitude” from them? We are talking about the viewer’s expectation on how a scene should have played out! We are analyzing the behavior of all characters here and we are not okay with Goenka’s attitude towards him- how is that so difficult to understand from our posts?

Your interpretation skills of my post can be questioned too, but leave it. Let the mods decide.

Then y is it difficult to understand my post and i am talking about reality and how doctors and patients react and expect in real life…as a viewer I’m also sharing my opinion and also telling what happens really…..as i viewer i also don’t want abhim to expect gratitude or anything goenkas because he did his job to save lives not doing any favour ….and it’s also against ethics if he does soo…a patient can demand and scream and do anything for getting treatment but it’s doctors call to treat or not unless it’s emergency no other doctors r available……here nobody is forcing him to do….they other doctors gave opinion and ak asked him….it’s his call to help or not…….

Then tell me - is Abhimanyu expecting them to show gratitude? - was any such thing shown in the episodes?

And to what extent are we going where we’re not seeing the pain of a sister who is seeing her brother fight for his life?
As professionals, we are prepared for such instances because we’re not always giving out positive news. There will be times we’re make the other person angry and so forth. For example, I was at an ER for work purposes last year and the doctor told this one guy that his child had passed away. Out of anger/emotions/denial he punched the doctor. If the doctor wanted, he could’ve pressed charges regardless of him being on call working or not but the doctor ended up hugging the man. They were complete strangers but the doctor knew what he was feeling and in this case, Abhimanyu is like a brother to Muskaan or at least that’s what he told her.

Here, Muskaan who saw Abhimanyu taking her brother and then she found him in that state is not in a position to think right. Akshara on one hand is pleading Abhimanyu to save her husband and Muskaan on the other hand has a different reaction, it could have well been the other way around. I’m in no way defending her actions but currently she’s not in the right mind to think.

But what about the people whose lives were saved? They leave the hospital without as much as a 'thank you'?

Secondly, can anyone "force" you to save their lives by telling you that 'this is your duty'? As a doctor you try to save lives but in the event you failed...do ppl say "you failed in your duty"?

patient can also leave without paying bills as it's their duty to save lives and they don't expect anything in return 😄

When they are not expecting basic common sense form patients then money hardly matters I guess.

PS: not saying anything about doctor profession as i respect them but just amazed to see ppl trying to mix reel and real just to humiliate a character.

@bold - I was wondering if this poorly executed track was going to benefit the story in anyway! However, these statements in bold proved that it may lead to people understanding Abhimanyu's state of mind on WD. Thank you so much for saying this and making me feel positive about this track. 🤗
