I haven't watched the epi but based on the WU, it's sounding to me like Abhi was put under a lot of emotional pressure and guilt trip after hearing that Akshara has fallen ill.....so under this much pressure, it's understandable if he decided to finally give up cuz he couldn't watch everyone suffering.

They are allowing him this so that audience can't accuse him of not trying to make that concession....he's fought long and hard for his son but was still willing to give him up when he saw the suffering going to this extent.

Ultimately destiny will still give his son back to him by a twist of fate....but he has shown the INTENT to step back. Rest will be out of his hands once Abhir runs away and sets something else in motion.

Seriously - wat the need of this dialogue??!! So he is indirectly asking him to give up??!! 😡 when he knows very well wat all his grand daughter has done? Esp her rant at BH and her plan to meet abhir everyday at school - How dare they all find fault with AB?
