And I have to appreciate Abhimanyu for today. For the first time, he spoke against Manjari. He shut her up. That was amazing. That definitely is one of the highlights of today's episode for me.

The second is how he was treated by the Goenkas. Loved how they treated him like he is this horrible person in their lives and how they don't even want to see him. My major complaint with Goenkas was they always tend to take Abhimanyu's side and showered him with love after everything he did with Akshara. At least now, he is getting the treatment he deserves for his and his mom's actions.

it was strange how he was so welcomed in goenka house even after what he had done with alshu...but somehow it was shown that no one exactly knows what he had done....people thought that akshu ran away...and he let them believe that...without clarifying what horrible things he had said.....

It's sad that abhimanyu actually has so much support from people constantly thinking about his happiness etc yet akshara is just surrounded by people who give her idiotic advise that only serves to backfire on her. Goenkas may not be in his support now but from start of leap they were supporting abhimanyu and his mother over their own daughter. Now when they are supporting akshara they are just giving her bad advise and abhinav too isn't doing her any favours by acting like abhimanyu's lawyer. Akshara needs at least one person giving her sane advise for her betterment.

Umm where does Abhi have so much support, the only one supporting Abhimanyu since Abhir’s truth came out is his mother and her support has caused more harm than good. Everyone in Goenkas is against him, in his own family- Mahima, Shefali, Anand, Arohi all told him that he was doing wrong by doing custody battle and not to separate mother and son despite that fact that it Manish who started the custody battle 2.0.

Neither Abhi and Akshara have good support- this why they are divorced and fighting over their kid.

Goenkas never gave Akshara good advice in any of the tracks. During the 1 year leap, the fact that Mimi knew Akshara sacrificed her voice for Abhi’s hand surgery, she should have encouraged Akshara no tell your husband that his doctor is blackmailing you- as Abhi always told Akshara to never be like his mom and sacrifice ever in their relationship.

Then 2nd leap, after seeing Arohi and Manjiri’s outburst and blame on Akshara for Neil’s death. Abhi told Goenka family to take Akshara away. Yes, Manish was right to stand up and tell Manjiri that Akshara has lost alot. But I believe they should have taken Akshara away to Goenka house for a couple of days, let Birla house mourn properly for couple of days- this would have been good for Akshara’s mental health also, then they could have had confrontations regarding this issue later.

Also, when Abhi said they were divorced and then later when Abhi called for Akshara’s whereabouts- Manish said Akshara agrees you guys are better off separated. What they should have done is made Abhi realize that this was their second and he was the one who asked for the second chance, that after this there are no more chances for him with Akshara, he better not appear in front of her again and let her move on in life - I’m pretty sure that would have made Abhi at least think through his reckless decisions.
Also, it confuses me that Arohi stayed in Birla house during the leap- why didn’t Goenka house fight more for her to stay with them. Birla house and Goenka house aren’t even far from one another, Birla family could have visited Roohi whenever they wanted.

Now in the current track, all the adults should have made Akshara and Abhi sit down and be like this isn’t about you two anymore, you can’t be childish like you both were earlier in your marriage issues, there is a kid involved- the kid being your own son. So grow up, resolve your issues, and think for betterment for your son. Y’all already ruined your marriage and your own happiness, don’t ruin your son’s happiness. Do coparenting- because your son is your biggest priority.

And Akshara confuses me herself. Why was she asking her family to make her stay in Udaipur for her son. When has her family ever disagreed with her decisions to leave Udaipur- they have always agreed with it - Akshara has stayed away from her family for 10 years in total if you count all the years she has left. This is HER son, she is the mother - why wasn’t she calling Abhi and confronting him- that’s what they have shown since the leap, that Akshara is no longer quiet and knows how to raise her voice.

All the adults in this show are horrible and flip like crazy, they never ever think by taking everybody into consideration.
This why when Abhir was running away to Kasauli, he said to Ruhi that adults lie to them and don’t bother about their feelings.

Also, look how much I wrote despite knowing this is ITV and drama is the biggest ingredient for it😂.

To the bold part, my response is the post is kind of about that. The only time Abhimanyu lost respect from Goenkas after his marriage with Akshara is when the custody battle started. And especially when Manjari suspended Akshara's visiting rights. After throwing Akshara away like a used tissue, Goenka house was very much welcomed to Abhimanyu and there are so many instances, Manish declared Abhimanyu is like a son to him.

Rest, Abhimanyu is 40+, Akshara is probably in her late 20s or early 30s. Abhimanyu has always gotten his way by screaming or telling or breaking things. Only when it comes to Akshara, he loses his mind and only end up listening to his mother. And he is a grown ass adult. He shouldn't need people keep explaining to him what is right and wrong every single time.

With respect to Akshara. She is always been pushed into a corner by everyone since the beginning of season 3. She is the do gooder who's always forced to do certain things for her family. So when the entire family decided she should leave from Goenka house (acc to her, her home is Kasauli), how can she insist to stay back. She is not Abhimanyu to throw tantrums. 🥲

I honestly believe the reason Abhi listens to his mom so much is because he blames himself for the abusive marriage she stayed in, that he didn’t do enough to protect her. Plus with Manjiri being weak, always getting sick and fainting. Like Abhi went crazy to marry Akshara in the beginning and then when Akshara rejected him, he was like I was right love gives you pain - it’s better to stay away and then he vowed to never get married- that he fine alone. Then Manjiri fainted and got sick, then he agreed for marriage. Like whenever Manjiri gets emotional and says anything, Abhi forgets about his own feelings also- like that’s not normal. When he apologized to Akshara for his mothers behavior and said his mother is his responsibility - that tells you enough about his relation with his mom. He needs to realize that he has protected her enough, she is no longer in the abusive marriage and she has a voice also now- most of all he needs to realize his mother isn’t the same innocent abused Manjiri anymore.
