This is my analysis of Dr.Abhimanyu and Akshara

Given their individual complexities, I'm curious to know - who do you find yourself supporting more, despite their imperfections, and why?

Here is my Analysis and take on them
Dr. Abhimanyu
is a complex character who is successful in his professional life but struggles with emotional intelligence and maturity in his personal relationships. My analysis of various aspects of his character :

Rights:

1. Love for Akshu: Abhimanyu's initial attraction to Akshu, based on her voice and then her beauty, is a natural human emotion. His affection towards Akshu and the desire to be in a relationship with her can be seen as right from his perspective.

2. Concern for Akshu's health: During Akshu's complicated pregnancy, Abhimanyu exhibits genuine concern and asks her to avoid risks. This care and concern for his partner's wellbeing reflect positively on his character.

Wrongs:

1. Lack of Communication: Abhimanyu's tendency to make assumptions and act impulsively without discussing with those involved is a detrimental trait. He breaks up with Akshu, blaming her brother for his cousin's suicide, without attempting to understand the situation fully.

2. Abandonment during Crisis: Perhaps one of the most critical faults in Abhimanyu's character is his decision to abandon Akshu following the traumatic loss of their unborn children. At a time when she needed support and care the most, he chose to serve her divorce papers, showcasing a considerable lack of empathy and understanding.

3. Inconsistent Relationships: Abhimanyu's lack of consistency in his relationships, jumping from one to another based on his emotions, can be seen as ethically wrong. He leaves Aaru to be with Akshu, then has problems with Akshu after blaming her brother for his cousin's death. This pattern suggests a disregard for the emotional wellbeing of his partners.

In summary, while Abhimanyu exhibits moments of genuine affection and concern, his character is significantly marred by manipulative tendencies, poor communication, and an inability to provide support during crises. These aspects of his behavior highlight the importance of emotional maturity and communication in maintaining healthy relationships.

Akshara, a character marked by resilience, selflessness, and at times, impulsiveness, has a compelling arc. Her dream of a music career, transition into homemaking, and endeavor to study law through distance education all contribute to her multifaceted persona. Here I evaluate her actions from the perspectives of "rights" and "wrongs."

Rights:

1. Sacrifice for Family: Akshu's initial decision to reject Abhimanyu's affections in favor of her sister Aaru's happiness underscores her selflessness. Her ability to set aside her personal feelings for the sake of her family is an admirable quality that speaks to her deeply ingrained sense of familial duty.

2. Resilience and Self-Reliance: Despite encountering immense hardships, including a heart-wrenching miscarriage and a painful divorce, Akshara showcases her resilience. She consciously steps away from her affluent family to forge her own path. This decision, combined with her venture into homemaking, hobbies and pursuing law studies, testifies to her independent spirit and determination.

3. Acceptance of Kindness: In a moment of vulnerability, Akshu accepts help from Nav, a stranger she encounters on the bus. This acceptance indicates her ability to trust others and lean on them, a vital survival skill during challenging times.

Wrongs:

1. Communication Gap: Akshu struggles with open and effective communication, akin to Abhimanyu. Her decision to go with Dr. Khera to Mauritius without informing Abhimanyu exacerbates their existing relationship tensions and demonstrates a lack of consideration for her partner's feelings.

2. Impulsive Decisions: Akshu's decision to leave with Nav, a stranger, is impulsive and potentially unsafe. Despite the narrative working out favorably, such a decision in reality could have severe consequences.

3. Surrendering Personal Dreams: Perhaps the most poignant of Akshu's "wrongs" is her decision to relinquish her dream of a music career. This sacrifice may symbolize her commitment to her new life, but it also implies a neglect of self-fulfillment and personal ambitions.

In essence, Akshu's character demonstrates the importance of resilience, selflessness, and self-reliance while highlighting the potential pitfalls of poor communication, impulsive decisions, and neglect of personal aspirations. Her character serves as a testament to the human capacity for adaptation and personal growth, even in the face of adversity.

Good post.

I think the basic flaw of their relationship is incompatibility and lack of respect for each other which happens in lot of young couples after which they move on to better and far more understanding ones. It's like a stepping stone to maturity.

They also derived some sort of sick satisfaction hurting each other at the worst of the times.

You know.. most of the time the start of the relationship gives you a peak into what comes next. The start of their love story was lies and manipulation. It was doomed from the start.

Wonderful post.

I agree everything abt akshu but she hasn't sacrificed her dreams.. today she told muskan to forgive herself before forgiving others..its a very imp lesson of life ...being guilt ridden for past mistakes can only make us depressed ..

Then she told muskan to continue her job and save from her salary ..a part if it comes from her own inability to follow that path..it was a lesson learnt for akshu..

She didn't sacrifice her dreams but she pursued them , still struggling to find a footing bec a person with minimum needs do suffer hardships before they get successful.. akshu was a music therapist but the field itself was new , challenging and lesser known..she never had a career in that....so post the leap she took up law studies which is fine ..as a hobby she was running a jam business and doing little tasks to raise the family income..she was never sitting idle at home . Her jam business is a home based one and she is still studying law after which the law practice takes years to take off .

Absolutely, you've really pinpointed the crux of the issue. They're mismatched and don't give each other the respect they deserve. It's a common issue with younger couples, serving as a stepping stone to more mature, understanding relationships.

The way they intentionally hurt each other, especially during challenging times, seems to suggest they derive some twisted pleasure from it. This is a clear indication of their emotional immaturity and inability to handle conflicts in a healthy manner.

Your point about the start of a relationship being indicative of its future trajectory is spot on. Their love story was rooted in deceit and manipulation from the very beginning, it was destined for trouble. It makes one ponder how things could have unfolded differently had they based their relationship on honesty and transparency right from the start.

Great insights, and I appreciate your perspective!

I absolutely agree with your take on Akshara not just giving up on her dreams, but repurposing them to align with her circumstances. It takes great courage and adaptability to shift from being a music therapist to studying law, all while running a jam business at home.

However, I'd still hold that her decision to initially drop her music career might be viewed as a form of sacrifice, even if she later found a new direction. It shows her resilience and adaptability, but perhaps also a moment of surrendering personal ambition.

You've also touched upon an important point about forgiveness and the role it plays in personal growth. Akshara's advice to Muskan about self-forgiveness indeed seems to reflect her own journey of dealing with guilt and mistakes.

However, I believe that some of her actions, like leaving with a stranger or not communicating effectively with Abhimanyu, reflect certain impulsive tendencies and communication gaps.

In all, Akshara's journey underlines that people can evolve and grow amidst adversity, and each experience contributes to this growth. Your viewpoints have certainly added more depth to this discussion. Thanks for sharing!
