However, I felt too that Akshara's jam-making job is being portrayed as something she has to do, rather than something she chooses or enjoys to do.

What if instead, the show portrayed her as someone who found joy, creativity, and fulfillment in her work, despite it being born out of necessity? Like her working in the nearby hospital as a music therapist or taking music classes. This could make a big difference in how viewers see Akshara's situation. Instead of seeing her as someone who's just getting by, they could see her as someone who's making the best out of her situation and finding happiness in it.

Akshara is making the best of the situation she got. At no point was it mentioned that Akshara hates her Jam-making business.

There are millions out there who are just getting by. Some not even that. It is the reality of the world we are living in.

Akshara s situation is much better. She and her husband both work to run their small nuclear family. So, they are sharing all the responsibilities. Akshara s jam business is famous. Abhinav does well enough according to middle-class standards.

They have a house of their own. Which is a huge thing in itself.

Akshara is also studying law.

She has a peaceful life, a loving husband, and an adorable son. Also, a great career ahead

Trust me she living a good life. In her own words, she is content and happy

You seem to have skipped the arc where Ak post divorce goes to Pathakot, is kicked out of a girl’s hostel because she is pregnant, then is held by police because they blame her of prostitution and then Abhinav claims about all this wife thing? She did not marry him immediately, she did not trust him immediately, there was 5-6 months gap before they actually married. Someone with such long trauma, its natural that there will be insecurities, and Abhinav made her feel secure. They initially started off as being friends, but he was there for her in her complicated pregnancy, something Abhim should have done, he also took care of Abhir when Ak was sleeping post giving birth, so she must have seen a good man in him and would have wanted to give him a family that he always craved for. He must have reminded her of old Ak, both Abhin and Ak craved for a family, because one never had one and another was always the neglected one. And no doubt single Ak would be great but what if she wanted Abhir to have the love of a father and that might have drove her to marriage. So what she did not marry for love, more than half of India’s population does arranged marriage. She had a baggage with her called Abhim, and after 6 years, after meeting him and calling him out for the WD and putting out all the burden she carried, she must have felt lighter and is finally ready to open up her heart, which is also okay. Why she did not go to her paternal family like any logical person, because she heard Manish blaming her for Neil’s death, and she was already living the guilt and this might have increased her trauma

Dude how many times it has been called out that Ak didn’t marry immediately after coming into contact with AbN. They lived together for 7 months and only after that they got married. So please stop your random random chant coz AbM is more random than AbN by your standard when they gor married.

I am not fired up on you for having a different opinion, lol, you can enjoy on with your perception, I don’t mind that as long as you respectfully put out those opinions, but since I thought it is a forum and we all are free to discuss and put our personal opinions ahead, I did the same, nothing more or less. If you are taking it personally, can’t help it buddy. Also thanks for inviting me to your lecture tomorrow but I would have to skip, lecture halls are my sleeping ground, and I have work to do tomorrow so can’t sleep (am also kidding)

Again yes, it would be her choice whether we like it or not. I wouldn't find socioeconomic reasons to mask my disappointment. If she doesn't cheat on Abhinav, I would just find her bit cringe and move on.

Abhinav being a random stranger is valid when Abhim, a cardiosurgeon, and Akshara, a girl in her early 20s clearly went to school together before sending rishta for her and then her sister immediately afterwards. Lol

Hell. He was the one who created OG Kaira. Before Karthik got ruined

Yahi toh mera point hai inka presentation is wrong. And not in this case scenario you pick kuch bhi:

1) Here to show struggle, this was clearly for AbhiM and Mata rani to understand Akshu k struggle

If you present it right people will accept and related.

Abhinav is the nice guy almost 90% of people stopped liking and relating. There must be something wrong no in the presentation that this is happening

People like Majari exist. Another point is Abhinav s inferiority complex regarding his financial status. Again a very common basic human emotion. We all have felt insecure at different points in our life about various things. Many struggle with it for years.

As a writer, you have to portray a lot of different POVs and emotions. That does not mean that you agree with all of them.

@bold True. Insecurity & under confidence arising due to financial status is a v.common phenomenon irl. That's why in India still during many arranged marriages, more than mental compatibility socio-economic compatibility of bride & groom families are taken into account.

Gorilas are filthy rich. Under normal circumstances a guy of Nav's standing would just be someone working for them and not their jamaisaa. And Nav knows this v.well. That's why he feels out of place amongst them.

As far as its shown, Sharma fam is a middle class family who were living fine in their means. There were minor deficits sometime like whether to use the money for buying new saree or shoes, Abhir's annual day fees... but it was nothing major. Abhir's illness threw them off track & in reality too in a country like India where there's not universal health coverage a major health issue can strip a family of its savings.

I feel the main issue here's the execution. Ever since that hole in the heart track started things had been rushed... which rendered the treatment of real, sensitive topics inadequate.

PS I hope I haven't deviated from what was gettin discussed 😅
