A. Completely disagree. Nav helping Ak has nothing to do with him accepting to be her son's father and her fake husband. It's not like there weren't instances for him to back out. I think the bigger issue is constantly showing that the female lead is stupid. Why have the white day happen at all? I mean, why show Ak be wrong about going to rescue the girls? They could have easily made it a situation where Ak had to act, and there were no other options. Even the police came and said that they should have waited for the police instead of fighting themselves. Abhi can still have misunderstandings and still throw her out. Even now I am hoping she and Neil get recognition for the brave act they did instead.
B. Nav only did that to avoid conflict. He wasn't doing shit to respect real papa's feelings. The narrative is very clear on that. Nav was worried that Abhi would react badly, but like Ak he has no real care for how Abhi feels about all of this. In my book this is not empathy. He simply wants to avoid conflict and be the bigger man. But even so, it wasn't required for Abhi to stay in their house. I think it would have been better for Nav to say you can stay in Kasauli as long as you want and we can decide a schedule for you to meet with your son. I think Abhi would have been good with this and just stayed at a hotel.
I couldn't understand your disagreement with 1st pt! In my post I didn't talk about him becoming someone's father or someone's fake husband. I said the day he first met Ak.. if like other passengers he wouldn't have bothered or admitted her in hospital after informing the family & left he won't be in the mess he's today..
There were obviously other incidents where he should've ... I don't think back out is the right term bcos at that time he'd made no deal/promise to Ak... but then I remember he did ask Ak to contact her known ones & if I'm remembering correctly her labour got triggered by something Nav said about her returning to her family.
So yeah the only thing Nav could've done was to contact her family against her wishes & drop her at police station or friend's house... That's what I said his over helping nature became his problem so don't engage in unecessary help.
That whole trafficking thing was made a joke for plot convenience it's futile to discuss.
As to the 2nd pt. completely disagree. If Nav didn't give shit about bio father's feelings.. the real papa wouldn't even be knowing about Abhir. Back then Ak was 100% clear she didn't want Manyu near Abhir. Nav didn't go against her but when drunk he did confess I'm guilty of keeping a father away from his son.. in Kasauli when he learned the truth his first reaction was Ab should know.. I don't think he was trying to avoid conflict or be a bigger man in front of Ak that time.
Before returning to Kasauli it was only Nav who said we should inform bhaiji.. if he didn't care about his feelings what was the need for him to say that when no one else even proposed it..
When Ab appeared in Kasauli without informing Sharmas in his anger mode.. Nav said you took a step fwd by withdrawing the custody case so I'll take a step fwd too.. which clearly meant if you've tried being a bigger man I won't back out from being one.
As to Manyu staying in Sharma house I couldn't dislike this track any less.. but that's what's shown.. So Nav can be called stupid which he is for letting his wife's ex stay under his roof but he isn't by any means selfish, non-empathetic, or pretending to be good.
