POSTIVITY - PATRONUS (YRKKH CHARACTERS)

Just re-watching harry potter movies with my little sister. And a question came to my mind: what would yrkkh characters Patronus be?

For those who don't know what a Patronus is...

A Patronus is a form of magic produced by the Patronus Charm, which is a defensive spell to fend off Dementors. When casting, it produces a silver animal guardian. The exact form of the Patronus will not be apparent until the spell has been successfully cast. Each individual's Patronus is unique and specific to the one who casts it, and it says a lot about their personality and who they are as a person. A Patronus signifies protection and identifies the underlying, hidden parts of the caster that come out in a magical form.

Although you won't see me online as much, I do visit the forum everyday (becoz I am too lazy to log in). And it amazes me how so many people have different views and opinions on characters, situations and everything else. So I think this is a fun way to show how you see a character by assigning a Patronus to a character. And when you assign a Patronus, please write down the reason behind it.

PS. Please don't argue! Don't compare characters - Abhimanyu, Abhinav and Akshara fans. If you agree or disagree, then give reason but keep it civil and polite. And if tension starts brewing then please be the bigger person and agree to disagree.

Abhinav: BASSET HOUND

The basset hound Patronus represents kindness, protection, and determination. You should never underestimate their protective and driven nature, especially among Slytherins. Those with the basset hound Patronus are unique, somewhat odd individuals – which is why a lot of Hufflepuffs also have this Patronus.

Abhimanyu: BAY STALLION

A Bay stallion Patronus is spirited, passionate, and always ready for a fight. Having this Patronus means you often have a dominant personality and are fiercely loyal to your loved ones. Dementors have no idea what they are in for when they come up against this fiery Patronus.

You may be overly emotional or sensitive but probably view this as a weakness. However, this is your greatest strength that helps you relate to others and love them well.

Aarohi: CROCODILE AND GOSHAWK

Having a crocodile Patronus means you are assertive and self-assured, but not overly showy. Crocodiles symbolize patience, primal energy, and tradition. They are often reserved, they can quickly become aggressive when they feel it is necessary.

Those with a Goshawk Patronus are driven and ambitious. Maybe you have heard the term “watch like a hawk,” and this phrase rings true since hawks are considered careful and watchful birds of prey. They are not only determined but intelligent and wise too.

Manjiri: FALCON

Those who have a falcon Patronus are known to have a dark side and a distraught soul. However, they channel their energy into overcoming the difficulties of life and growing through them.

Harshvardhan: PEACOCK

Peacocks are natural show-offs, and if you have this Patronus, you may share the character trait of pridefulness. You might be easily annoyed, but you can be level-headed when necessary. You also have good friends who keep you in check.

You cannot miss the vibrant and dazzling plumage of a peacock. Their bright feathers attract mates but also intimidate any potential enemies.

Kairav: PHEASANTS

Pheasants are big-hearted, regal birds who sometimes struggle with pride, which gets them into sticky situations. So, if you have this Patronus, you may find yourself in a similar place. However, they are also very noble and symbolize virtue.

Unfortunately, because they are very trusting, sometimes other people take advantage of them.

Mahima: POLAR BEAR

Many associate polar bears with magic and being great strategists. This Patronus is most definitely a force to be reckoned with. While those who conjure this Patronus are fierce and vicious in battle, they do have a soft side with their loved ones.

Surekha: POLECAT

Polecats are not actually a part of the cat family; they more closely resemble a ferret or weasel. Most commonly a Gryffindor House Patronus, if you have this Patronus, you are probably very opinionated and sure of yourself. You enjoy the spontaneous side of life and are always looking for a new adventure.

Parth: RATTLESNAKE

If you have a rattlesnake Patronus, you may be overconfident and lash out sometimes when you feel insecure. However, you protect and stand up for your friends, and they know they can always count on you.

Rattlesnakes are poisonous and use their loud rattle to scare their enemies. They stealthily lie in wait for their prey and then strike at just the right time.

The only sane one

Vansh: HUMMINGBIRD

Those with the hummingbird Patronus tend to be free-spirited and seek to enjoy life to its fullest. Even though they are tiny, hummingbirds are big protectors. You stand up for what you believe in and your loved ones.

Neil: HUSKIES

While huskies are a big ball of fun-loving energy, they are also very in touch with their emotions and cope well with stress – just like the casters of this Patronus. They are highly intelligent and simultaneously very humble. You are likely very loving and affectionate towards those around you.

Swarna: MONGREL

Mongrel is simply another term for mixed-breed or mutt, meaning those who cast this Patronus are diverse and unique. They are scrappy fighters but can also be mild-mannered and easy-going. They make friends quickly and always stand up for them, which is excellent for you when you are up against a Dementor! #BestiesSwarnaAndManjiri

Hi fantasyera! Thank you for the tag! Was surprised to find Harry Potter discussion here. I’m a big fan of the series and very proud to say I have read them over n over n over…lmao

anyways to your post, here are my thoughts:

Abhimanyu: His patronus can be so many animals I can think of. For now, I will pick Elephant. They are fiercely protective of the ones they love (every family member of the Birla khandan has at one or other time used him for their own vested interests: I can’t put together his love for akshara in one sentence here, for me his undying love for this character is the backbone of this gen and all other stories are weaved around this). An interesting fact is if mother and baby is attacked by a predator the elephant doesn’t abandon them; the elephant sends a message to the mother to tell her where they are. Elephants can detect distant vibrations, possibly even more than 100 miles away. So, the herd sends their own unique vibrations with their trunks through the ground, which the mother elephant can pick up through her sensitive feet. Even from afar, elephants will always bravely protect their families! (Soul connection which has become a joke now thanks to the script)

Akshara: Her patronus will be a cat. Cats are graceful, display their affection subtly. (Her beauty and grace are for everyone to see). Cats run away when scared. (Her character unfortunately has been running away from difficult situations since the start of this gen. That’s her coping mechanism).

Aarohi: Her patronus will be a hyena. (Her character is selfish, yet a little dumb and cowardly much like hyenas). They are witty (is a doctor) have no apologies to make (character doesnt own up to her follies) , nurture her cubs (shown to have the capacity to spoil everyone’s life for her daughter, ruhi) , lack in grace n charisma (her character is opp to that of akshara here in grace) , excellent communicator (if her character wants to communicate then never fumbles up unlike akshara ) , aggressive predator can even crush elephant’s bone (beware abhimanyu! 😅)

Abhinav: His patronus will be a Leech.The leech (Hirudinea) is a predator and blood-sucking parasite that is native to almost every continent. This aquatic worm is a member of the Annelida phylum, which means it’s related to the earthworm. More specifically Kinabalu Giant Red Leech – The Kinabalu Giant Red Leech definitely lives up to its name. This insect is bright reddish-orange in color and is twenty or more inches long. It’s found on a mountain in Borneo. Kinabalu giant red leeches are carnivores eating a worm that lives alongside it in Borneo. Reasons: pretty common to find them (character found on a bus) , parasite on akshara (no relevance to the story if akshara leaves him ), blood sucking (sucked the life n essence of this show/gen)

manjari: Her patronus will be a sugar glider for the following reasons (too demanding for attention (literally us a third wheel in all of her son’s relationships…like the worst BOGO offer ever) These are a new pet from Australia. Many people have acquired them only to be disappointed due to the amount of time they need to put into caring for their exotic pet. Sugar Gliders do best in pairs. When not kept in the company of other gliders they should be carried around by their owner in a pouch. They bond and form attachments to their owner when they receive good care. The amount of time an owner needs to devote to companionship of these animals is often overwhelming,

Abhimanyu- Firstly I think Dementors itself is a perfect representation of Dr Birla. He has this innate ability to suck someone s soul and leave them with nothing. Irony. Irony 😆

I think Abhimanyu s patronus will be a mule for his stubbornness, stupidity, and obstinate behavior.

Manjari - Praying mantis. To represent naricissim. Her ability to sweet talk and manipulate her son. Her ability to throw everyone under the bus etc

Akshara - Phoenix. We’ve all heard the phrase “rise from the ashes” when it comes to the phoenix. This bird is symbolic of rebirth, hope, renewal, progress, and eternity. When it comes to renewal, it’s usually a time period that is prosperous and happy.

Abhinav - Hawk. The Hawk is one of the most valiant birds that proudly represents courage, self-awareness, truth, and perspective. They’re known for their intuition, inner wisdom. If you see a hawk, it’s time to assess where you’re at in life and what’s the next move.

Abhir - Hummingbird. Always boppin’ around, the hummingbirds are full of optimism, speed, and lightness. They’re known as a sign of connection, playfulness, and adaptability. When you see a hummingbird, it means you need to stop what you’re doing and not take things as seriously. Connect and keep it playful.

Thanks for the tag ! Fun discussion, lol. I think the Yrkkh makers think Abhi is a lion from all the roaring sounds, and Ak is a lioness ( choti sherni). But obviously, that doesn't work.
