Let's talk about Abhir. And Abhimanyu today.

Abhir is an amazing kid. And all the credit goes to his mumma and papa for raising him so. Akshara loves him so blindly like any other mom but she never backs down when he needs a good scolding. And Abhinav is Abhir's strength. He is a fun parent where Abhir plays and enjoys with him, but Abhinav also knows when to say no to Abhir. And that is the difference between parents and the fun cool relatives. For instances, My nephew and niece is obsessed with me. Because I am the fun, young aunt who plays with them, let them do whatever they want, take them out etc. But do they love me more than their parents? Of course not, I am not delusional. They run to me when they get scolded or get upset with their parents and they go back as fast because I am not their mom or dad. This is definitely the same attachment Abhir is feeling towards Abhimanyu. And the warmth I felt in my heart when Abhir took his extended hand back and said, oh this is my papa's cake and ran back to Abhinav. That was a true emotional moment for me in this show after a long time.

Now, let's talk about Ruhi. She is a really cute kid but extremely spoilt. She hasn't heard no from anyone until recently when Abhimanyu decided to postpone the wedding. Even a small scolding she gets from Aarohi, she runs to her Deeda or Poppy complaining about her matasree. And not just to Abhir, even to Ruhi, Abhimanyu still acts as the fun cool uncle because he never corrects or parents her. He just fulfils all her whims. I have never seen a scene between Abhimanyu and Ruhi where he is like a dad to her. He is always paying with her, buying her gifts or doing her homework and if someone scolds her, he just pampers her more and more.

Now, shall we talk about the villian of the show aka the real bachcha chor 😆

Let's talk about the scene where Abhimanyu think of Akshara's words where she says you will end up hurting Abhir as well and then he thinks about how happy Abhir was spending time with him and then Abhir would accept him but Abhir did choose his papa over docman. This reminds me of an old scene. After the mandir scene, Abhimanyu is thrown out from the Goenka house, he reluctantly leaves and while he walks on the road barefoot, he is giddily happy that Akshara finally accepted her love for him and he thinks that his Akshu might be feeling the same. But she wasn't. She was far away from it. She was upset that she made her bade papa lose his face and hurt him considerably and broke her sister's wedding. She wasn't thinking of Abhimanyu at all. That's how delusional Abhimanyu is and still hasn't changed. Even when he is in his 40s now. When he loves, only he exists and his thoughts exists. No one else. The only exception would be his mom.

Because we saw today how he even forgot Ruhi.

I absolutely agree with you that it would be very strange for abhir to choose abhimanyu over AkshNav coz they're the parents he's always known... it's true inspite of whatever connection abhir might feel...abhiM is probably the fun uncle for abhir...he doesn't give him the place of his father coz Nav is the father he's known...khair i guess u r talking about the scene in yesterday episode

Coming to Ruhi... totally hate the obsession she has for abhirohi wedding coz Cvs give her dialogue that r distasteful coming out of a 5 year old...but overall she's not evil..she cares about abhir nd is empathetic..... I'm gonna quote this from personal experience with a child like ruhi who lost her father real young nd has an uncle filling the shoes there's always this thing that the child should never feel they don't have their father... sometimes you have all the responsibility towards the child...but not the haq coz u aren't the parent nd the mother is still alive.... it's a constant battle else people around u say What if it was ur own child...If only the father was alive.... today's episode we see abhi deciding to put both the children photo in his wallet... he's not choosing abhir over ruhi....he did go to the camp for ruhi sake only

As far as Ruhi is concerned... I hate makers have tried to show her as villain... Like she is just a child artist fgs... They could have made her stubborn but her obsession with Poppy ka attention was littlr over the board for a child... Her even imagining that her poppy will give attention to someone else and getting possessive isn't making sense for a child... Like unless they see such instances... But

Nevertheless, this show sucks... And makers have gone overboard with child artists...

I agree completely. Ofc, Abhir is going to choose his parents over Abhi, the docman. But I really don't want that choice to happen. While you may have found that scene emotional in a good way, I felt absolutely wrecked. First, I felt bad for nav, when abhir went to greet Abhi, and then I felt bad for Abhi when abhir went to give cake to abhinav, but most of all, I felt bad for Abhir. The kid knows nothing and is just giving love to everyone, and everyone is hiding this big truth from him. We all know it's going to come out, and likely in the worst possible way. All of this is too much to ask of a kid. I just want these people to sit him down and explain in a mature manner than playing these ridiculous games.

Abhi's love has always been like that. He never understood why Ak wasn't constantly thinking about him like he was her, why she had other people on her mind, why she wanted to do anything going against him etc. I mentioned this before, but his love is almost like his pride. He thinks that loving someone is enough to keep them happy. The moment his love is not enough, he falls apart - case in point, when Ak told him how his love was not enough, he lost all his pride in it. I hope Abhir does the same. I hope Abhi can realize that love alone is not enough in any relationship. With Ruhi, he has no discipline. I think he does try to parent her in his own way - explaining things, trying to make her understand with empathy, etc., but never says no or disciplines her.

Even with Manjari, btw, he is the same. He tries to make her happy and all, but ultimately, he rarely makes her happy. In the first case itself, he refused to marry Arohi. He has pretty much always kept stuff from her. Lied to her a lot for her own sake. In a way, exacerbated her issues with HB. Lol, he even brought Neil into the house. Even now, he is making her go mad by not telling her the truth. Manjari just keeps loving him because of their bond, but I don't remember a time when he actually made her happy.

Okay, I am taking your word for everything you said except for the bold part. I definitely cannot question or doubt your lived experience.

But I can't agree with the bold part. It does feel like he is choosing Abhir over Ruhi. I am not saying she stops being important to him or he completely forgot her. But jos priorities definitely has changed. He forgot about Ruhi, when he proposed Akshara. He could've have taken Ruhi with him while he planned the birthday party for his Abhir. It could have been more fun for Abhir as well if Ruhi was with him. Think about it, if you are siblings, your parents doesn't plan a fun birthday for you alone ignoring your sibling.

All I am saying he has the habit of this obsession and possessiveness he forgets everyone around except for that one person. Right now that is Abhir. And it is a big big flaw for an adult person. And it is too selfish. The way he kept the photos also kind of indicates Ruhi is second to him.

And he said okay for the trip because he knew staying here has no pint because Abhir is anyway leaving for the summer camp. I totally believe if he Abhir wasn't going for the summer camp, he wouldn't have gone to the camp and would have planned something else for Ruhi at the house itself because the is character core of Abhimanyu.

And I can't help but feel Abhimanyu'a character was deliberately written like this to show the flaws of obsessive love and how destructive it can be.

It's my opinion that you're putting too much thought in the order of the pics..I feel somewhere he's lost those 6 years with abhir nd is overcompensating here for it... trying to makeup for it...nd that' where he's going wrong for me mostly

I would agree to the last part u said if the makers get some clarity if AkshNav is the ship they want to sail(I see them still unsure)...coz till then makers don't have that kinda depth

First of all, usually adopted parents do not tell such young kids about their biological parents. In a realistic situation, they will wait a bit for Abhir to grow up or tell him the truth. And Abhimanyu can always be present in his life. Why they do not want to tell Abhir is I feel because of Abhimanyu. It is time and again shown that Abhir js a sensible child but one has to be really scared of Abhimanyu. The one thing that is stopping him right now is Manjari and Abhir not knowing the truth.

That is the thing about love, right? Is it even love when you are only thinking about yourself and what you want and expecting the other person to behave exactly the way you want. Or expecting the other person to treat you just like how you treat them. It does feel like a prison which Akshara identified clearly. So, I don't think what he is feeling is even love. It is something that he is using to fill the void in his life because he has made himself believe his is a victim and has trauma bigger than anyone else. I think it is a typical behaviour of a privileged male in our society.

Tell me about it. He is such a manchild. No lessons in life teach him anything. Didn't you see how this 40 year old male had to he dragged out of Goenka house by his mom while he couldn't take his eyes away from Abhir? Which grownass adult behaves like that. Oh God!

Honestly i see this both ways since AbhiM finally got to know he has a son he's overcompensating those 6 years of absence in abhir life nd is therefore not as present for ruhi...but at the same time ruhi has been the princess of birla house nd centre of attention nd she's not very comfortable sharing that spotlight usually happens with older kids when they get a new sibling.... I for one don't see any harm in him prioritising his sick child over ruhi... doesn't mean he loves her any else...but abhir does need his attention more....For sure ruhi being jealous of abhir track is on the way...what remains to be seen is whether it's coz she's no more the only center of attention or their is a evident difference in the treatment of both the children
