The writers don't want abrohi marriage to happen either, but because of the high ratings this abhira separation track is getting they are trying to squeeze every bit out of this track they can by stretching. So abhi getting to know abhir is his son is meant to be the highest point of this separation track and they'll show any nonsense to delay it.
