Neil must be rolling in his grave looking at his hypocritical mom and wife! Technically it was a manipulated relationship of convenience from her side for power and position, he realised he was trapped but she again manipulated (with suicide and then IVF or whatever incomplete track they laid there to get her pregnant) and before any real love could be shown from both sides; Neil died. Her remembering her failed trip to alter with Abhi actually makes sense because she hardly had anything to remember with Neil, she made it apparent that he was a step up the Birla ladder for her, that's all.

It is all being done on purpose in the show to show the real state that Akshu is in.

Just like it took Abhi a few times to finally admit to himself he cannot love anyone else and he no longer wants to pretend anymore.

Akshu has to go through that path too. The crack in the wall has started with this accident. She will overcome soon.

Right, the trauma and abuse has to be spelt out.

She's just biting her tongue because in her head she's going to run away from all this soon in a couple of days and probably may seldom come back. Protecting Abhir's truth is over her self respect right now but if and when it comes out there'll be no stopping her tongue.

They need to end the bad omen thingy too, I think since Manju starts her argument with that it stumps Akshu everytime.....she's being accused of being a bad omen since childhood. How disturbing it has to be to her psyche! The way she speaks some times it feels like she considers herself to be a bad omen to her family.

Akshara is counting her days in udaipur, she wants to go back to kasauli so not indulging in Goenka and Birla affairs...
