Well Surekha was the only one to put Swarna in her place when she threw Naira out during Mumbai separation track. Surekha basically sided with Naira that time and also stood up against Suwarna mata several times. Surekha didn't accept Sirat easily like others. She had always been a grey-shaded character though straightforward more like Mahima minus ambitions. She may side with Aru like other Goenkas but then what will be the purpose to bring her back?
