Picking and choosing your battles I don't find as doormat behavior. She has spoken up when needed. I don't find her acting like a doormat yet. When is happens I will call it out.

And I know this is ITV all characters become doormats as per convenience of track. Sometimes we get logical Akshu sometimes we don't same for Abhimanyu, Manjari, Manish, etc.

In the accident track Akshu chose her sister over Manjiri and Abhimanyu combined.

Similarly the adoption kaand is a Abhimanyu Birla campaigning for mata.

He was ready to marry Aru for his mother's sake then how is Neil important.

Abhimanyu has pampered Neil hence he can't understand that for that child dignity and self respect is need of the hour.

The senior Birlas care only for Abhi, imagine HB having a soft corner for Neil too.

I did not liked when abhi left akshu without listening to her. But after watching today's epi he looks more worried for his mother. As akshu was raising her hopes. Akshu lived her entir life hoping that everything will be alright. She never stopped hoping. Where as abhi he is always seen loosing hopes and he gives up too soon. he does not believe in happy endings may be because of his past traumas.

Now when he is married to akshu he is still worried about her as he knows somewhere she might fail following that condition and which will end up adding more complications in their house and especially in their life as he has to juggle between manjari and akshu.

Akshu should have spoken to neil personally but she just started speaking to him in the hall. Neil seems to be overexpecting from harsh. I am waiting to know why abhi hates harsh so much. And if harsh hates manjari so much how abhi is born ye chamatkar kaise hua 😆 something is really major hidden in their past which might come out soon during divorce discussions
