We Souths don't have phele rasoi custom. But we do have this custom where every weekend in the name of dinner treat for newly weds we get calls from close relatives like uncle and aunt from both girl and boy side.

I have seen couples struck in this for atleast a month. Every Sunday one house different variety of food. If there are kids they are lucky to tag with couples to have those special meals. Total war goes between all the relatives to see who gave the best treat to the couple., 🤣🤣😎😎

I hardly remember my post marriage rituals coz my MIL will forget rituals when she has to do it🤣 but I remember making halwa for my first rasoi, I didnt know how to cook and all but was still manage to make decent halwa, yes i got a gift from her too

My first rasoi was suji ka halwa... I remember each and every family members expression also. I could relate to akshu' s smile when everyone agreed to atleast taste ♥️
