Pending work done - NAILED IT! That's exactly how it feels for me.

Yes, most families think that way. They also think that if someone is not sound in the head, marriage will "cure" the person. But the groom seems to be thinking that way, which is worrisome, frankly. Pretty sure Birlas would happily consent if Abhi wants to postpone the marriage. So it's not the question of families pressurizing them.

I would say it's because she can't resist Aarohi. After the accident, she tried to rebuke her but one hug from Aarohi melted her intentions.

Totally agree with you. Akshara is Mahaan character who doesn't exist in real. In today's world no one can be manipulated for so long. In real life, yes you sit with your sister makes her understand and talk. But as I said she is not real life character so that is not possible

And worst of it after marriage many families think children are solution of all couple problems. So if you're having issues Bacha karlo Sab theek ho jaayega. And unfortunately many fall in those trap and never come out.

100% agree with what you said - unfortunately this marriage is a burden/comes with a job (help wean of Aaru) rather than happiness for Abhi.

Whether he wants it or not, the sisters are a buy one get one free package. When he was marrying Aarohi, he got Akshu for free with her participating in the rasams equally. Now he’s marrying Akshu and by the looks of it, Akshu’s packaging Aarohi in her suitcase. At this rate, Akshu might reinstall the tradition of dowry to bring Aarohi along as her dowry

1 & 2 dialogues just tell me that Akshara in no way shape or form is ready for marriage. There are just too many emotional ties that she needs to let go off before she can be ready for ANY NEW relationship.

one example - who wakes up in the morning to see if Aaru is still in bed and be worried that she is not???? There could be any reason that she woke up with most simple thing being using the washroom! This is not past trauma, it’s obsession..!! How will she keep tabs on Aarohi once she is married? (Wake next to Abhi and think about Aaru??? Imagine how creepy that sounds)

PS - trauma is overused here imo, just to justify any and every action of the FL (we see amnesia as per convenience as well)

So perfectly pointed out!!

Especially the bold part! Akshara takes equal part in Arohi's crimes consciously and repeatedly, not out of any sudden majboori. Thanks so much for posting!! 🤗

Akshu considers Aarohi a reflection of herself. She calls Aarohi's successes her own and sees Aarohi's failures as her failure to be a good sister or parent. For example, in the first episode when Manish was advising her to rebuke Aarohi or not take her attitude anymore, Akshu insisted she wouldn't do either as it would be giving up on Aarohi. Giving up on Aarohi, for Akshu, would be giving up on herself and admitting her defeat.

Abhi first became special for Akshu because he recognized Akshu as a separate yet unique identity. For example, the simplicity dialogue when he first met the sisters together. Akshu's face showed a subtle expression of surprise as he recognized her when she didn't.

I always used to wonder what makes Akshara behave certain way whenever it comes to Aarohi. When she's with Abhi she remains same but the moment it's about Aarohi she just loses her sanity. Today I realized Akshara is having some mental/psychological issues. She's not as normal as she looks. I agree with someone's point here. After waking up, she starts calling out for Aaru when she doesn't see her on the bed. That's insane. Then after reading Aarohi's letter Akshara went so insane that she even forgot she was chatting with Abhimanyu. The way she behaved was absolutely abnormal. Due to her insanity she goes into self-harm mode which is as dangerous as harming others. If Abhimanyu hadn't brought Aarohi back we don't know what she would have done to herself. Maybe try to cut her wrist because her behavior was extreme.

Reflection of herself.... That's an interesting POV that I didn't think of. You are right. Makes sense.

But if that's the case she is not going to change. Or rather her priorities aren't going to change ever. And Abhi?? Would he accept the situation? Grit his teeth and bear it? For how long, I wonder

@ bold -

That's plain stupidity from Akshara's side for all her talk of family, right and wrong, and pyaar.

Parents or elder sibling's love is indeed where they consider the child a reflection of themselves, but that definitely includes rebuking and giving up on the child (who is a fully grown woman abusing the parent Akshara here) when it's needed.

Even birds without 6 senses push their chicks brutally out of the nest and give up - leaving the chicks to learn to fly on their own, learn to fall and get up on their own, and most importantly face the deserved consequences for their own actions.

Rebuking the child/sibling, not giving into the child's manipulation, and not taking the shit (sorry for the language) that the child throws at the parent or elder sibling is what sensible people do.

Akshara has become insane in her obsession for arooo. As many have pointed out, she needs to think about what her life is, and whether her life has any meaning, without arooo in the picture. She needs to find a purpose for herself in life, independent of arooo, and grow some self respect. That won't come with marriage or love. That has to come from within. She will only spoil the life of anyone she marries at this point.

There's a saying: even if it's mother and child, their mouths and stomachs are different. After birth, the child has to breathe and eat by itself, for itself. Mother can spoon feed, but can't eat for the child. If the child and mother don't realize that the child is an independent entity, then it ceases to exist.

If she is so into parenting, doesn't she think even for a second, what'll happen to her "jaan" arooo after she goes to jail covering up arooo's crime? Arohi will commit another mistake or crime and may even kill someone now. Who's going to save her then?

Also, what's with the chants of "World's best sister", given all the immoral things arohi has been doing throughout? Being blinded and hiding truths, on top of it being crazy enough to praise a criminal! I just can't 🤔
