Hello everyone, I am not fine after looking at their wedding look. I am in awe, complete awe. I can't wait for the wedding episode to be aired already. I am sorry for going MIA, I was pretty busy preparing for my cousin sister's wedding and boy there is so much work to do so as an apology, here is a veryyyyyyyy long update. Part 5
Abhimanyu turned and looked at the person who held him from the back.
It was Kairav. Abhi could read his eyes. It was spitting fire in them that could turn him into ashes if possible. Abhi kind off had his prediction for Kairav's behavior towards him but he didn’t want to conclude just yet. He needed to know what happened and if Akshu saw the message. Kairav looked all rigid and cold, that was not a good sign for Abhi.
Abhi: “Kairav, kya hua tha? What happened to Akshu after we left?” he questioned calmly knowing that Kairav was mad at him about something.
Kairav: “Do you want to know Dr Abhimanyu Birla?” he asked sarcastically.
Abhi, at that moment, knew that Kairav saw the message that he had sent in a jiff of anger but how was he going to explain himself. He cursed himself a million times for sending that message. He will never be able to forgive himself ever.
Kairav looked at Abhi and exhaled slowly. He cannot be mad at him too. His sister was at equal fault as him. He can understand what Abhi is going through right now clearly.
After all, who better understands the feeling of losing a mother than him. He has already lost two of them at a very tender age. He knew Abhi’s world-famous anger and didn’t want to trigger it right now, especially when his sister was sleeping next to them on a hospital bed.
Kairav: “Can we talk outside Abhimanyu?” he asked calmly.
Abhi was partially shocked at the sudden change of behavior but he needed to explain himself. It was the best shot he got.
He immediately nodded his head. He turned to look at his Akshu one last time, caressed her pale cheeks and walked out behind Kairav slowly trying not to make any noise.
He closed the door slowly, turned around and came face to face with not one but more faces.
It was Neil, Kairav and Vansh.
He needed their help to fix this mess. For that he needed to tell everything to them. They walked out towards the garden. It was at the back of the emergency building of the hospital. As it was almost 3 am, it was empty. He slowly turned towards them and was about to open his mouth to talk when Kairav interrupted him.
Kairav: “Let me come straight to the point, you were seriously going to call off the wedding like you told Akshu?” shot his question to Abhi.
Vansh: WHATTT? What do you mean by calling off the wedding? Have you lost your mind Abhimanyu? What were you thinking? Were you thinking at all? Because, it looks like you weren’t thinking at all. Is that why Akshu is in the hospital right? It is the reason, isn’t it? Tell me, why are you keeping your mouth shut?” yelled Vansh at the top of his voice.
Kairav and Neil had to calm Vansh down and warn him that they were in a hospital, it is best to listen to all sides of the story and then coming to a conclusion.
Abhi was drowning in guilt every passing minute. His mother is a terrible condition and could barely walk. And at this moment, his Akshu is in the hospital struggling to even breathe on her own. He felt like a failure at that very moment. The two people he loved the most in this world were hurt and are in pain but he isn't able to anything to fix it. That's it.
Abhi dropped to his knees and started crying. He was mumbling something while crying his heart out. He was letting out all the frustration that he felt at the moment through crying.
Neil too began crying after looking at his Bhai. His bhai was someone who stood strong no matter what happened and faced it alone. He was broken today and he couldn’t do anything to lessen his pain.
Kairav and Vansh felt guilty for pushing Abhimanyu to the very edge. They knew how much he loved his mother and Akshu. Both are everything to him. He felt guilty for saying things when he was already in much pain regarding his mother. It was not fair.
Vansh and Kairav: “Abhimanyu, we are sorry. We shouldn’t have yelled at you. It is just that we were so stressed about Akshu and the message you sent. We are sorry for not being considerate and not listening to you first,” they apologized sincerely as they began to get teary-eyed too.
“Akshara and Abhimanyu don’t deserve this. They have already fought so many battles and yet they are still suffering. We need to fix this. That’s it. My sister is suffering since small and I am done watching her in pain for years. I am going to solve this matter once and for all," thought Kairav sadly and made his decision firmly.
Before he could help Abhi stand up, he saw Neil kneeling in front of Abhimanyu, hugging him tightly and crying.
This incident reminded him of his childhood when he held Akshu tightly and cried when they lost their mother. He remembered how Akshu and he held on to each other when tragedy hit them one after the other. Although Akshara was very young when Naira maa passed away, a child would always sense the absence of their mother no matter how old or young they are. He remembered how their dad pulled himself together although he needed the most consoling because he had to care for Akshu and him.
He was jolted out of his past when Vansh shook him lightly and asked if he was okay.
Vansh: “Kairav, are you okay? Do you need something? Why are you crying so much? Don’t worry, we will solve this issue very soon. Akshu and Abhi will get back together, we will apologize to him now. Come on, let’s help him and listen to what happened,” he talked Kairav out of his trance slowly.
Neil wiped his brother’s tears away and held him by his shoulder. He looked slumped at the moment. He can’t give up right now. Not when everything is so messed up and everyone is hurt in one way or other. His bhai needs to be strong to overcome this problem and Neil promised himself that he was going to be right by his brother’s side no matter what happens.
Neil: "Bhai, if you give up now, who is going to solve this issue? Who is going to explain to both sides' families and solve this? Don’t you want to get married to bhabhi? Don’t you want Akshara bhabhi to get well soon?, he coaxed his Bhai out of his overthinking.
That seemed to do the trick as Abhimanyu immediately came out of his thoughts and looked around before locking eyes with Neil.
Abhi: “I need to solve this issue. I need to talk to everyone. I need to know what exactly happened on the day of the accident. Akshu told me a few things, but I could not comprehend them when we were fighting in the jungle. Medicine, Aarohi. Yes, Aarohi drove the car. Yes, Akshu admitted that to me in the jungle when we met earlier the day,” he was spewing everything that came to his mind but was mumbling inaudibly.
Neil, Kairav and Vansh couldn’t catch up with what Abhi was saying were getting worked up each passing second and yelled.
Neil & Vansh & Kairav: BHAI / ABHIMANYU!
Abhi jumped in fear when they yelled at him out of a sudden. He seems to be zoning out frequently in thoughts about Akshu and her health.
Neil: "Bhaiya, talk us through everything from the beginning, please. Only then we will be able to solve this issue. We need to know everything. A to Z explained to his Bhai in a low tone knowing how disturbed his brother is now," he explained to his Bhai.
Vansh and Kairav nodded their head in agreement.
If they are going to solve this issue, it is important to get to the root of the issue. They would need to know everything that Abhi and Akshara know.
Currently, Akshara is not in a condition to tell them what happened so, Abhi’s turn comes first. They had around four more hours till Akshara gained her consciousness back.
Abhi looked at the hospital building, more specifically Akshara’s room through the garden and thought to himself, “I am going to solve this issue and make sure that the person who did this gets their punishment Akshu. Then I will apologize for the message I sent and make sure we end up together. That’s a promise I am making to myself,” said Abhi firmly looking at the windows of Akshara’s room.
He looked back and saw his brother and brother in-laws were ready to hear everything and help him out. That’s what he needed now. A support system and thankfully has it.
Taking a deep breath, Abhi began telling his side of the story.
He told them about the private investigator.
Then, how he found out the truth about sangeet when the PI came to show him the CCTV footage which was retrieved from the accident spot.
How heartbroken he was when he saw Goenka’s car.
When the PI told him there were two girls in the car that hit his mother.
How furious he felt and left the ceremony halfway.
Then he told them about calling Akshu out and confronting her in the jungle, calling her a liar for hiding her sister’s truth.
Abhi began tearing up after remembering Akshara’s heartbroken face when he yelled at her face and called her by her full name.
Neil rubbed his back and nudged him to continue before he began to cry again and will not able to tell them everything.
He told them it and bits that Akshara told him in the jungle when he questioned her. To be honest, he couldn’t clearly remember everything as he was exploding in anger at that moment.
He told them how Akshara confessed that it was Aarohi who, drove the car but kept quiet when she was asked again at home in front of all and took the blame on herself.
Abhi: “I couldn’t believe when she took the blame on herself, I couldn’t understand what she was trying to do,” explained to them.
Vansh, Neil and Kairav then understood the reason behind Abhi exploding on Akshara at Goenka Mansion.
Kairav: “Then why didn’t you bring it up when we were at Goenka Mansion?” he asked Abhi immediately.
Abhi: “I was about to tell everyone the truth when Sir began talking and did not give me a chance to explain further what happened in the jungle,” he cursed Sir a million times in his mind.
If only he was given a chance to talk, he would have told everyone the truth and they would have known that it was not Akshara but Aarohi who hit his mother. His blood boiled at the mere thought of that swine of a sister that his beloved has. He was not going to let her get off the hook so easily. She is going to pay for everything that she has done. And he is going to make sure of it.
He couldn't believe that his Akshu was ready to save her from potential jail time and end up there herself. He shook his head in disbelief. This girl. Oh god.
He continued.
Abhi filled them with what happened at his home. On how everyone was yelling and shouting after they left Goenka Mansion and reached their home.
Abhi: “Sir wanted to release an arrest warrant against Akshara but before anything could happen, Maa told him not to file a complaint against anyone as she is fine now and wants to forget that all these even happened,” he said remembering Sir’s face when Maa stood against him for the first time and told her decision and was not wavering from it despite the yelling and shouting of her husband and sister. He was so proud of his Maa.
Abhi continued explaining them. He told them he left his room right after that and locked himself up.
And he committed the worst mistake of his life. He sent that message on calling off the wedding to Akshu in a fit of anger.
He fisted his pants as he uttered the message that he sent his Akshu which was also the reason why she is in the hospital right now.
Abhi: “I know that I shouldn’t have done that, heck, the thought of calling off the wedding shouldn’t even occur in my mind at the first place,” he punched the bench that he was sitting in angrily, this time at himself.
His hands were bleeding from the impact but that was the last thing in his mind.
Neil, Vansh and Kairav for the second time the night: BHAI / ABHIMANYU.
Neil immediately wet his handkerchief and wrapped it around his Bhai’s hand and scolded him for being so irresponsible. He knew how important hands were for doctors. Meanwhile, his brother was going around throwing punches on every surface he comes in contact with.
Vansh, Kairav and Neil were shell shocked. All these happened right under their nose but they had zero ideas. They were in a dilemma. They were thorn between beating up Abhi for thinking something as absurd like calling off the wedding or giving Akshara an earful for being so gullible and easily manipulated.
They looked at Abhi and the window of Akshara’s room that she is currently in. Then, they looked at each other. They were in a big pile of mess and trouble and it is going to take more than them to solve this issue. Kairav and Vansh knew at that very moment whom to call and ask for help.
They looked at Abhi and felt pity for him. He is in a miserable condition and didn’t know how to come out of it. They did not know which knot to untangle first.
Abhi was beyond exhausted. All he wanted right now was for his Akshu to sing a lullaby and put him to sleep. But he knew that the problem was far from solved, hell it was tangled beyond solving.
His brain is cramped with everything that has happened since the accident till now. All he needed now was his Akshu, a blanket and a pillow, he could crash anywhere, even in the garden they were currently sitting in. Before he could suggest going back inside as he wants to be near his Akshu when she gains her consciousness, Kairav spoke out first.
Kairav: “I know someone who can solve all these problem,” he said looking at Abhimanyu.
Abhi immediately felt as though cold water was poured on him. The relief he felt at that moment was unexplainable. He looked at Kairav with hope and asked about this said individual who can apparently solve this issue and bring back both families together.
Abhi: “Who is it, Kairav? Your friend, a cop or are you talking about Bade Papa?” he asked urgently, wanting to know who is it.
Kairav just stared at Abhi and was contemplating if he should call that person. His Akshu was suffering, Abhi was suffering, their love was suffering and, that’s all it took for him to come to a decision. He knew exactly whom to call and ask for help.
He turned to look at Vansh and saw him encouraging him to call the person immediately. They knew the power he holds over Akshara, only he would be able talk her out of taking the blame on herself and fixing this problem.
Kairav: “Nope, none of the person you just stated.” And he finally said the person’s name.
