Akshara is really insensitive and selfish - Page 3

The inconsistency in the character build up of the FL and the gaping loopholes in the narrative is perhaps because the makers and the writers are paving the way for another round of toxic behaviour by the ML. This toxic behaviour will then be rationalised in the mind of the audience based on the many opportunities in which the FL ‘failed’ to meet/live up to the trust of the ML. This kind of portrayal appeals to a misogynistic mindset that seems to be shared by the writers and a fair section of the audience. In any case the makers are clear that this is what will help increase the viewership and the TRPs. And in this bargain the quality of narratives and tv shows is held ransom.

@bold: I wouldn't call that as insensitive. It's your choice to accept someone or reject them..Even after break up of year long relationships, people plead the other to get together again but then there are other factors which would make the other party reject.

Here Abhimanyu was just a guy akshara met on a trip. Also, a lot of girls in real life too dont get married to the guy they love because of family pressure or family love as they dont want to go against their family with whom they've lived all these years for a guy. She did try everything in her capacity to help abhimanyu to move on by organizing birthday. In real life no one even bothers to do that and girls really get irritated when guys are persuading them even after being rejected as that come across as creepy and obsessive. She also helped with molestation case and fire incident, which is something people don't do even for their boyfriend with whom they have been in relationship for long.In that case, she wasn't insensitive. She was being sensible there as if both sisters have a liking towards the same guy, so its best to move on from such a situation and not complicate things further. Also, she knew birlas dont like her which is now coming up which will make her married life hell... so tell me how is she wrong? Girls dont want to get married in families where they are not respected.

We will see how abhi and akshu's life get complicated after marrying each other. So it's best to marry in a simple family where there is no drama.

Abhimanyu was innocent at that time..aarohi was extremely delusional that she thought abhimanyu liked her and akshara was surely flirting with abhimanyu too and somewhere she knew that abhimanyu was interested in her..but Akshara didn't speak up to save abhimanyu's image..that was the very least she could do for him..

I'm not saying that akshara was wrong for rejecting abhimanyu...she has a right to do that but there is proper way for that..atleast tell him the truth directly and not humiliate him publicly and make mockery of his love..akshara was definitely wrong for rejecting him so BRUTALLY..

Yes she shouldn't have stayed silent when he was being character assassinated but she stood up for his character going against family and media in ruby track.

At that time she thought it's best to stay silent as it would hurt aarohi more that on her tilak day she is openly accepting that abhimanyu was into her- that was her stand i guess and i think it was fair.

Do you think if abhimanyu heard i love you from akshara and gets to know she is backing off for family and aarohi, he would oblige by akshara's request to not make her go against her family?

NOOOO. He was crazy desperate to marry her and would leave no stone unturned but i think that would make things easier as he would take responsibility in his hands to convince goenkas and teach a lesson to aarohi. I think that track would have been nice! I am making another post on how abhira's organic love story has been ruined because of a third angle- read that one.

I blame abhimanyu for taking the wrong decision of marrying aarohi and then pursuing akshara from behind..

But I will never blame abhimanyu for leading aarohi on or giving her false hopes..We can't blame a man when a woman has NO self respect or shame.. so abhimanyu cannot be blamed for aarohi's lack of self respect and shamelessness

See dear. A proposed marriage brings a lot of hope in a person. She thought as abhimanyu and her would live together, abhimanyu would eventually accept her and she was expecting all sort of things that happen in arrange marriages. Abhimanyu's proposal of marriage not only brought hopes from his side but also from his family members as she knew manjari and harsh liked her a lot.

So i am talking about hopes from that point of view . Getting married itself is a big event in a girl's life and that hope was crushed when abhimanyu ran away.

Also, after knowing abhimanyu himself knowing is not even one percent interested in aarohi and how aarohi may end up suffering like his own mom manjari, why did he choose to become another harshvardhan birla?

What made him beleive that manjari would be happy seeing abhimanyu not even showing one percent interest in aarohi after marriage?

Also don't you think they will share the same room, be husband wife in the eyes of society, aarohi will get all the other relations through abhimanyu .. wouldn't that be cringy?

A guy agreeing to marry the sister of the girl he claims deep love is a low to some another level.

Atleast aarohi was clear, she never wanted a romantic abhimanyu. She knew she wants to be married in birlas for all luxuries and privileges that comes along with it.

Ha ha ha ..the invisible force named aru controls everybody's life in yrkkh 😆 sab aru ki wajah se and aru ke liye hota hai. Akshu lies for aru ..akshu can do any crime for aru. Akshu can die for aru . I dun think abhi will ever beat aru in her game.

@bold: after rejecting a girl once due to the confusion created by your own family and then going again to the same girl to marry her is also another kind of low.

Also his proposal was quite indecent. He clearly told her he is using her for his maa ki khushi. That shows his selfish behaviour. He thought Aarohi saved him from fire, least he could have offered her was companionship in return.

I think abhimanyu himself had no idea what a marriage means and what responsibility it brings in a person's life..abhimanyu simply took it as deal to make his mother happy and did not think deeply about the consequences..that's why he used to feel uncomfortable when aarohi asked him to give a ride on his bike or akshara told him that aarohi will share his room..these thoughts never crossed his mind..and I'm sure if he got married to aarohi he would've gone into depression or ran away from home to avoid this new relationship with aarohi..it would've definitely suffocated abhimanyu

Even a normal human being would react more than her. She should have actually talked to manjari after this and thanked her for forgiving her if that's what she assumed. She keeps doing maa jaap and is shown panic attack prone but doesn't give a hoot about this accident and next day comes and celebrate her Sangeet.. there's no guilt in her that she didn't check the site which is a big irresponsibility which made manjari go through this

She is only shown to be giving gyaan on pyaar and parivar...bro you run away from a hit and run and have hidden this thing from your own family like a typical brat....

And now she will throw pebbles in the floor to win a stupid competition

I can't believe someone can move on so quickly from putting someone you call your mom through almost death. Didn't this thought haunt her that what if abhimanyu couldn't have found manjari?

That's actually a good point. I had never thought about this but then suppose they show a scene during the sangeet that Akshara is thanking Manjari, Manjari would have thought Akshara is talking about her advising Abhi to stop investigating the accident and concentrate on the wedding. 😆Probably the writers didn't wanted another confusion track so they avoided it.

Waise bhi more than Akshara, it's Aarohi who should have thanked Manjari for saving her from Abhimanyu's wrath 😆but then she herself is finding it hard to believe he did forgive her so easily without insulting her. 😆Aarohi should have apologized to Manjari long back for the accident even though it was not her fault but she's not that kind who will apologize for her own mistakes.
