Hari and Meher lovely review. I haven't watched the episode yet (been too busy plus time change means it's too late to stay awake so have to catch normal televised episode as during the day I am too busy to watch it elsewhere) but cannot wait to see it as the romance side of their relationship is finally reaching a conclusion - hopefully.

They both look really lovely and looks like everyone is happy for them.👏

I also like the little dark reminder that all is not well, mainly with the Arohi scene. Guessing we will see things come to a head sometime this week....

Bela, I agree with you. The whole engagement was a little off for me too. Like it was nice but not wow. Tilak had wow written all over it which this engagement was missing. The whole affair was rushed and as such I feel there was no time to show depth of emotions. Like for example, the pre look between Abhira was much deeper and had some very nice dialogues as compared to abhi’s office scene which was akshu faint, abhi’s “tum bahut sundar lag rahi ho” and then let’s go to Manjari maa.

Also, for a person who is not attending the ceremony, Manjari was shown on screen and talked about so many times more than necessary. They could have edited that out. (The audience very well understands that Abhira loves Manjari, and everyone is missing her. No need to keep repeating same thing) Between Manjari maa and anupama, there was a whole lot of maa maa going on.

The ceremony itself was a nice concept; such a beautiful recreation of their confession but again it was rushed rushed. Again, it was nice but it could have been wow with better shots, slow motion captures of their emotion and maybe forehead kiss by abhi atleast.

The only thing that matched tilak vibes was the dance sequences.. both salam-e-ishq and maahi ve dances were superbly done.

Again, sorry guys for a not so positive review. Didn’t want to spoil the fun for you guys but wanted to vent myself as well. 😆 I guess, we have been given so many wonderful episodes in the past that our expectations are very high and so even an otherwise nice episode is not cutting it sometimes. Sorry makers, but its the side effects of doing your job properly 🤣

Positives about the engagement:

1) Neil’s radar for arohi- the two things you can always count on is abhi’s radar for ak and Neil’s radar for arohi kaand 🤣

2) arohi’s darr vale expressions

3) Manish’s one liners- his comment of abhi turning into monkey and “sab pagal hain yaha pe”
4) maahi ve sequence as I mentioned earlier

5) for once mahima was happy because the ceremony was indeed rushed. So she need not say, “jaldi karo jaldi karo” so we were saved 🤣 or else I was on verge of pulling my hair during the jamai Pooja episode

Forgot to add in the negatives- the whole bike sequence recreation was also barely 2 seconds and that too in split screen with anupama 😭
