March 25th Episode

I didn't think I'd like it or have opinions weighing enough to post about it but I did.

Aarohi, for all she's done, acted as expected in the episode. She is overwhelmed by other things (the fact that she drove on drugs and caused an accident for starters) so her face was quite sombre in the episode but she participated which was nice(?). There were some small (prob) forced smiles which I appreciated.

Loved Pranali's look (the hair, the jewellery, the flowy skirt)!

Abhimanyu realizing he's marrying into a crazy family but playing into their teasing (mujhe laga jamaisa ke liya koi maharaj khana banega par tumhare saath kaam chala loon ga) was sweet. Gave me a glimpse of the old YRKKH days with the masti.

People have been talking about this accident track whitewashing Aarohi but more than that, I see them playing into the grey shades of Mahima. Showing the concern she has for her sister, pointing out her inability to be what Manjari is (in small things like she can't cook or manage the household or the temple scene where she didn't know where anything is), and being protective about Abhimanyu a little. Neil and Shefali, although they care about Abhi (Neil immensely), didn't recognize that the dish had something he was allergic to (even though Abhi did), nor did they notice Abhi's symptoms. Yes, they're not doctors but neither am I and I would've. Not only did she rush to Abhi's aid in concern, but she seemed scared and angry. I loved how she retorted, pura din Abhi Abhi karti ho, tumhe itna bhi nahi pata because it highlights the cracks in their relationship that they need to address. Yes she was rude earlier, but I don't blame her. She's a busy person, her sisters in the hospital, and she doesn't want to be there.

I felt that sweet potato thingy showed how much communication is required in relationships. Abhimanyu should have told her he is allergic to sweet potatoes after the first bite instead of eating the dish more. It was a small thing. Mahima was not wrong in showing her concern though I felt she should have told Akshara thoda dheere se. It also shows Mahima and Akshara are gonna have lot of issues later and also somewhere Shefali too may go against her due to jealousy.

Colored Text: I appreciate the quick action of the doctor maasi. She acted quickly and decisively. And maybe spoke in anger and distress to Ak.

Ak-Ab in many ways are having an arranged marriage.

They haven’t dated/gotten to know eo.

Abhi saw her, fell hook line and sinker for her and decided he must marry based on 2-3 flirtatious meeting with frissons of attraction. It was always a big Yes from his side and he dived right into it. The “getting to know” phase is just happening in their relationship.

So I thought Mahima was overly harsh. But if she says sorry I’ll understand.

If anyone is to be questioned/ yelled at it is Abhi who knew he was eating something he is allergic to knowingly and willingly.

As an outcome, I hope Ak decides to learn more Abhi and have him know a bit more about her. Talk and share.

I found it sweet that he didn't cause I'd do the same unless I'm at risk of having an aliphatic shock. But I think it's important to have that conversation b4 you head out to dinner like hey I'm vegetarian or allergic to XYZ so we'll have to keep that in mind when picking a restaurant. It's the lack of communication that the scene symbolizes. The important things are communicated by other people (Kairav told him about Sirat and Naira) or just not mentioned at all.

Actually it's a tiny thing which could have been avoided. It's not like Akshu should have felt bad if he had told her I can't eat this even if u cooked it for me because I am allergic. These tiny things are often not communicated by couples and then later it becomes a huge issue. If Mahima hadn't reacted like that then Akshu would have continued cooking sweet potato curry post marriage also and Abhi would have eaten it and then Akshu would have got even bigger yelling than what she got in today's episode.

Coming to today's episode, It was more bearable but so many interesting facts popped up! Foreshadowing of things to come, hmm?

Goenka's and Birla's will never enjoy a function together. One family wants to spend all their days enjoying themselves and the other family barely have time, their lives dedicated to patients (invisible ones!). Clashes will be inevitable. Neither is wrong but I feel sad for both. There is a time to enjoy and to work but when your work keeps coming between marriage functions, what do you do?! (seriously, anywhere else they would take some times off and maybe not do all these rituals but here it's like 'lets keep butting head and glaring at one another' all the time!).

Akshu (and us) are being hammered with the fact that she does not know Abhi and vice versa. Well duh! how can they know one another when they never had a conversation in depth about themselves. It's been nonstop tilak,after tilak, accidents, fake suicide threats and fake engagement with a closet pyscho...how on earth can they have a normal conversation and find out things like, say allergy?! Mahima had to batter Akshu who looked so silly whimpering out 'I'm so sorry'. At least look a bit embarrassed at her words. Lol, can you tell it really bothers the Birla's that Akshu and Abhi are close?! but in this allergy fiasco I blame Abhi actually. He knew he was allergic, ate it and then kept silent when Akshu was being bashed. The least he could have said was 'I made the choice to eat it'.

The best moment for me was the breakfast scene at the Birla's. These people are helpless without Manjiri. No wonder the poor woman has diseased valves - she has been cooking non-stop in all the years she has been there, they don't even have a temp cook to take over or give her a break. On her behalf I demand compensation. The Birla's can have salty and watery dhal or whatever. Or they can go in and cook for themselves. All these people and not a single one can boil water to save their lives!

Now to the wonderful angelic Arohi. I was so shocked to see her stable today. No whimper or shakes...no tears or frightened hugs...and she was dressed in white and actually looked good. Oh gosh, what happened? or is this the calm before the storm? I think so it is!

I agree Abhi should have told Akshu. Also he should have told Mahima that it was his choice to eat the dish rather than keep quiet when Akshu was being told off.

The only thing Akshu should be blamed for is not knowing Abhi well. And vice versa. These two never talked like normal couples!😆

Actually when Swarna invited Abhi and Mahima, she should have told her at that moment only over the phone that Abhi is allergic to sweet potatoes just in case they don't cook any dish. Somewhere it's Mahima's fault too. Plus I don't know whats with the writers obsession with drama lol ek simple sa lunch ke beech mein bhi drama ghusa dete hain. 😆Drama hi chahiye tha toh Mahima should have told the Goenkas, udhar Manjiri is in hospital and here u all are cooking chappan bhog. 😆

So are they even now?

Abhi hid sweet potato allergy. Ak hid Arohi OD and accident.
