Actually when Swarna invited Abhi and Mahima, she should have told her at that moment only over the phone that Abhi is allergic to sweet potatoes just in case they don't cook any dish. Somewhere it's Mahima's fault too. @ red, this is what we do in this country and when going out to eat. Lot of people have died due to allergic reaction when eating out that everyone is very aware and mention it upfront.

Either SP is doing a social message via drama or once again writers, scraping the bottom of the barrel for drama, have decided to use this.
