I don't think so actually. He was never a fan of Akshu but his hatred began with her silence at the Tilak. Like Abhimanyu said that day, uske pyaar ne hi usko sab ke samne galat thera diya. Harsh offered Akshara a second chance to speak up but there again, she made a spectacle out of his son. He also saw Manjari's parchai in her and as the fandom contested during the first two months of the show, manjari is a raita mata.

I'm not justifying Harsh's behaviour, he has no respect for others, especially not women. It's why I found his dialogue, mujhe sabse zyaada lago betiyon se hai, comical. He's abusive - physically, verbally, mentally - egotistical, and insecure. He's the second Vanraj Shah (not surprising since Anupamaa is also a Rajan show).

If Abhi didn't defend Akshu, I would've kicked his ass, that is unforgivable. But like Manjari said, this baap-beta duo don't know how to respond well to situations.

Often times victims in verbally abusive emotionally abusive relationships are unaware they are in one. Manjjari has not recognized or acknowledged that she is in an abusive relationship. All these years Harsh has slowly chipped away her self esteem and confidence and the only person that stands up for her is Abhi. Still she has no awareness that she is in an abusive relationship she thinks she is “pissing” between son and father.

Unless she realizes she is in an abusive relationship and wants better for herself no one can help her. Abhi loves her and she can control him so she does but Harsh, she has no control over.

As for her constant confused state, her low self esteem is partly to blame but sometimes a little bit of common sense and communication helps. She’s a confused atma but the Mahimas in her life also cause issues for her.

may be you are correct in tht harsh is angry because ak made a mockery of his son infront of both the families but u need to agree on this tht he wants a career oriented girl for his son..someone who is compatible for him in every sense and as u have mentioned he sees manjari in her thts y he has this strong dislike for her but I can surely say ak is no manjari because when harsh told her to resign she gaved back to him by mentioning tht she herself is resigning..she would never tolerate his insults.

Does raita mata knows how to respond in situation at the time of need?

She becomes mute with her crying face..

She backs of her decision and support at the time of need

She supports Abhira in front of Abhi but when time comes to give support openly she backs off

She is very shaky..gets scared for every little thing and makes everyone fearsome

This is what Harsh complains about her. Raita mata can't do things properly when comes to rishta. She is only good in kitchen, not in speaking to rishte dar, outside world.

She gives lambe bhasan to all birla kids and shows them her bichari state and make the elders look villains. She always discuss with Abhi, Parth, Neil about how things happen this way not so good..but her brain never works in the direction to get the solution of the situation or even tries to do so. She withdraws and says "Hey Kanha ji sambhal lena"

Definitely but those things you described - the indecisiveness, shakiness fearfulness at any lil thing - 3are signs of extensive trauma. If I knew more about her background and relationship with Harsh, I could say, with more confidence, if she's experiencing symptoms of PTSD (I'm a psychology major, this is what I study for a living). How is judging her for, specifically, those traits not victim-shaming?

Look I'm not Manjari's fan but sometimes, she makes valid points IMO. Other times she jumps to conclusions and makes a mess (Oh, my son fted me and a girl randomly walked into the frame, he must love her).

But Manjari-Harsh are not Abhira. Abhi should know, by now with her multiple declarations of 'I am choti sherni', that she is different from his mother. Even Mahima knows it.
