Baraat thing is still fine but how are we going to be convinced that WHY does he love akshara so much? When all they did was meet on a 3 day trip, had some nice moments and after that the girl kept on rejecting him.

What i expected from the love story was a mature surgeon and a shy but bubby girl. Now all I can see is rinse and repeat of all tracks. Most of their love scenes are like nibba nibbi.

Even the plot is so forceful with all predictable dialogues. We can easily make out what would happen next and how one character is going to behave. Why couldn't they come up with new tracks instead of showing what's already shown in Kaira's time?

Akshara was super melodramatic today with how dare they and when the drone entered her room, behaving as if pata nai kya hogaya... Akshara is made such a weirdo who will do whatever she feels like. First she will reject abhimnayu in the name of sister and family love, then accept the love betraying sister on wedding day , then again start with her family jaap.

Such a nautanki overly mahaan character. abhimanyu ki bhi aisa bana diya apne saath.

A mature doctor reduced to a clown.

Abhira don't give me the vibe of a couple who are in love as there have been hardly any conversations between them like sane people do. They just look like two people obsessed with each other and the idea of love.

Kaira had an amazing phase from strangers to friends to lover and whenever they were on screen, there was ineffable chemistry of two bomb people. Abhira is just about how abhimanyu is crazy for akshara and how akshara is crazy for her family. Do they even look like two people who are into each other? The flirting, wanting to see the other, physical attraction. NIL.

They are giving me arrange marriage vibes was it really that difficult, after confessions they had 30 freaking episodes. Even if one episode each they kept a scene like the initial episodes of them flirting, doing nok jhok or having a mature conversation we would be able to relate better that slowly they are getting more and more comfortable but all they did was add cheesy romantic scenes like saami saami and abhimanyu babysitting akshara.

The fact that story doesn't have any head and tail and characters are changed overnight. There are no proper internal monologues - just a weirdly churned out script for the sake it makes me go

I could not watch today's episode. It is one of the worst in the entire history of Yrkkh l

When the song started I logged out of hotstar.

Rajan is making a mess after 100 episodes. 2.4 or 2.5 is a very dismissal number. The entire team deserves it as no one is upto the mark. Even Harshad and Pranali haven't done a proper job in the last month.

Abhi has figured 2 things out .....

1. He is hopelessly in love with akshara....and its very difficult to come out of...and even the thot of loving sum1 else is seemingly impossible.

Trust me some ppl have this issue ....in general they are pretty sorted but when it comes to emotional attachments they become pathetic 😅 ( coming from a former hopelessly pathetic soul 😳😆)

2. The one he loves is OTT and dramatic. 😆 hence he planned a proposal suitable for his dramaqueen. It's a cute idea...and works coz the whole Goenka parivar is kinda Extra!

N I don't see what's the problem with the references. It's not a s2 or s1 or s3 ..its the same show continuing . Those who have seen s1 have also seen s2 and may also be watching s3 ..some may be new ..some may have quit afters2. S1 references were brought in during kaira times also..everyone compared naira to akshara . It's natural to do so..

But trust me after shadi it's only and only a family drama plus marriages thrown in . They will get intimate once a week and that's it. Intimacy, not romance. I have already lost Interest and I don't message also this often . But let's judge this season on its merit ..s3 characters are poor...its not bad bec s2 references come in .

@on topic , Akshu loves to reel in her Stockholm syndrome. If manish is worried abt how harsh will treat her , he can chill. Akshu loves the beizzati and she will do anything for her family, chahe kisi ki bhi ho. Only when the husband is in question the self respect kicks in . Phir andar ki mata jaag jaati hai Inki . The typical bahus of sp. Akshu is no different. It is what it is and will stay like that. Abhi will keep getting fooled like itv heros....they lose their brains and character when they marry.....it's sad is there is no love story.. there wasn't any in the first place. It was over in 2 weeks . Sad.

S3 is a total khichdi.. from what i have seen elsewhere ,and even in case of kaira, characterization bigadta tab hai when they need drama after the love story is over but here, characterization ka skeleton bhi nahi hai..

i keep reading in the forum about some 4-5 writers being incharge.. looks like the saying is true that too many cooks spoil the broth..

actually its sad that the writers did not capitalise on the amazing trps they had at the beginning of the season. even with all those dream sequences inserted, the audience was excited but alas, no delivery on that front!

The question is, can the writers salvage the downfall but again i am wondering what is there to salvage??

The show has a Naira and it has an Akshara, it needed something new and Akshu can definitely be that breath of fresh air, while maintaining some qualities of her ancestors.

I get it now! I know I found it really funny that she broke into a bhajan when Abhi was trying to shock Bade Papa’s heart into beating and might have mentioned it in my post - of course I had no clue it had a S1/2 connect. 😭

I would so LOVE to know when these ‘connect with prior season’ scenes occur so I can appreciate it like the veteran fans do!

Also, I’ve never met my grand mom, so singing the songs that I knew she used to sing is how I connect to her and keep her essence in my life so I found that continuation relatable. It wasn’t much about kaira for me as it was seeing her carry pieces of the mom and grandmother she never got to know. Similarly, I imagine scenes where Akshu would sing songs that Manjari sang to console Abhi or their future children for bonding.

Thank you! I see that the S3 Akshara feels tethered to the past generations of strong women in her family through these songs and wants to honor their memory by singing these songs in the current season. It’s very touching❤️.
