Today’s episode was a filler but it is setting the stage for dhamaka.
Akshu realizes that Abhi is probably still upset and that is why he has not called her or message her. She is angry at herself for saying all of those things, and does not realize how it happened. Again, she was extremely traumatized and she herself didn’t process her words…she just let her feelings pour out. She says she will call Abhi after he is free from the pooja, or else he will call her, because he is so caring and mature. She has full faith in his love.
The song playing while the Goenkas are dancing is Gauri Shankar ji. The only other times this has been played is during the purple saree dream sequence, in the hospital when Aarohi’s name gets erased from Abhi’s hand, and in the mandir when Abhira are about to run away and get married. Each time it was played, Abhira were brought a step closer to uniting. The first one- in their dreams, the second one-indicating they are meant for each other, and the third one- on the verge of unity. This time, they will actually unite. The entire time Akshu is just staring at Abhi’s photo while she is dancing. She dreams of herself as Parvati and Abhi as Shiv… and I am going to choose to erase this from my memory because it was just so cringe.
Moving on….
Akshu is about to call Abhi finally, but Aarohi stops her, sensing something is wrong. She is back to being her jealous self trying to ruin things for Abhira. May no one ever get a sister like her. Akshu is making a Rudraksh bracelet for Abhi and wants to give it to him…so like many people have predicted, maybe she will tie this on his hand today as a symbol of their union.
Abhi is also about to call Akshu but then he sees the video of her dancing and thinks that she is not missing him at all, when in fact all she is thinking about is him. He does tandav, and as is its purpose, he calms down after it. He lets all of his insecurities pour out to mahadev, saying that he thinks he will lose Akshu to her family. This has been his worry all along… this is why he was so afraid on the bench yesterday… he thinks that his love will never be enough for her. Little does he know, he is on the same level for Akshu now as her family… he just needs that security. He says that he will dedicate his entire life to Akshu and winning her over, writing her name in Mahadev’s powder. This wish of his will come true on this very day….
Manish is having flashbacks of Abhi in the hospital, whisperers something to AG, and arrives at the Birlas. His flashbacks were mainly of Abhi standing up for Akshu, but also the one of him bringing the rishta for Aarohi. I truly do think he wants Akshu to be happy now, but again, he is acting on his own without even consulting anyone else first. His basic nature will never change. Akshu arrives at the hospital to give Manish prashad, but he is missing.
In the precap, Manish says he will accept the rishta to Abhi, and he is so happy. But, there is a condition…meanwhile, Akshu is on her way to the Birlas wishing that nothing happens that creates tension between the families (insert kaand here 🤣). Too tired to elaborate on my guess, but I think Akshu will arrive to the Birlas and realize what the condition is…and she won’t let it happen… but, she will fight for Abhi and his family, and she will also somehow prove her love to him… that is how the meaning of shivratri will be fulfilled…there might be a huge fight that explodes if the condition is revealed on shivratri... or it will be hidden from and the Birlas, and it will lead to a fight down the road...either way, this is going to push Akshu against Manish and closer to Abhi...she is going to be extremely upset that he laid this condition... (unless it's all a test like some are thinking)

Not in the right frame of mind so couldn't really enjoy the episode today. Will go by your review.
Episode aside, maybe this is the kaand that will come out right before or during the wedding and Akshu will stand up to him, refusing to let him leave his family. Not sure how Abhi will handle not telling his family because if they come to know of Manish's condition, one of them will blurt it out to Akshara immediately - for either an emotional reason or a mean one. Which means Abhi will accept the condition but won't disclose it to either families.
Arohi is the one who will come to know and tell Akshara about it. That way, it will be a win-win situation for Arohi. If Akshara goes ahead with the marriage, Abhimanyu will lose his family with Akshara carrying the guilt of separating him from his. If Akshara doesn't go ahead, another tamasha and wedding cancellation on the cards. She probably will not explore the option of Akshu refusing to comply with the condition but still going ahead and marrying Abhi.
On a side note, ICU se patient gayab? Wow! Unbelievable! I'd assumed the nurse would say he just got discharged and left or something like that. These tiny things w.r.t hospital scenes really do prick me, yaar. Yes, I do accept it's a family drama and all but still...
