Why only Manjiri? - Page 3

Yaar these makers want to drag the story so they dragged manjari character to ditch. We are just angry that the situations were created on her name.

Her expressions are like that of apacs meri beta wala gif that's why I guess we jump in to theories. 🤪 Even when mahima did her kaand during first tilak time I don't think so we scolded her that much as we are trolling manjari now. 😲

Why is Manjari called more names? I get it she is unable to see her son pain and kind of emotionally blackmailed him. But falling sick was not her own decision. Was it? And she is, not denying, looking for her own happiness too but she looks for the welfare of her son. She is selfish to expect Aarohi to marry Abhi when she knows he does not love her? Absolutely. But her remembering Abhi confession and then, why I am thinking like this and all this in past shows that she believes, Abhi is trying to move on and is not that the first step? She firmly believes he will able to move on if he get the right love. Why? Because all he has craved that...

But now he only wants that love from Akshara.

I am not denying she is raita mata but atleast she does not know how Aarohi is in real. Abhi did not revealed that he asked Aarohi to ignore those msgs and she framed him to be lier. She does not know how self consumed Aarohi is. She does not know that for Aarohi, Abhi is a trophy. She does not know that Aarohi is fakely taking credits.

For her, Aarohi is someone who loves her son. For her, Aarohi is someone who persuaded Akshara to come and save her son from misery, unemployment and no respect life. For her, Aarohi is someone who jumped into fire and saved her son.

On the other hand, she likes Akshara. Even when she know she rejected her son far too many times, she still love her. When Akshara own family does not ask her, she asked her. She said sorry for a slip of tongue where Akshara own family walked all over her for the happiness of Aarohi. She likes Akshara even when she knows she left her son to die and does not even stayed there to ask about his health.

Are not we wrong here?

Yes she is weak and the actress over do the emotional scenes, but we don't know how her parents brought her up, but her sister constantly demeans her, her husband (let's not talk about how much of a jerk he is), she have knowledge in music but neither her husband nor her sister ever helped her or cheered her to aspire it instead mocked her down...

Does not her own story is reasonable?

I have always been conflicted about my opinion of Manjiri. A lot of times, I let myself be guided by what was seen on the surface, went by appearance. Got angry for some of the things she did. And failed to see the depth behind the character. I failed to take into consideration the years and years of trauma this character has been through.

Manjiri was introduced as the home-maker. The female who keeps the house together. As Anand said, the two sisters took over the two fronts that define the Birla fam - hospital and home, and managed it gracefully. I always disagreed with Harsh when he used to belittle Manjiri, saying that even after having an army of staff, she's working like there's no tomorrow. That shows how he has absolutely no concept of a home. No matter how many people help you maintain it, it's your home. The main lady/man has to be personally involved in each and every thing. Because, for others, it's just a place of work, for you, it's the house of your family.

A very big reason for the dysfunctional relationship between Abhi and his father is how his mother is treated. Abhi's explosive anger and impulsive nature stems from this deep rooted helplessness, that he can't do anything to make his mother's life better. He wants to protect what's his, what's precious to him. And that's what he did with Akshu, ever since she became precious to him, his life, his impulsive nature took over to make sure she's safe and protected from everything.

And it's this need, to give his mother a better life, a happier life, he agreed to marry Aarohi. I know people say that he went and proposed and noone pointed a gun to his head and stuff. But imagine being in his position and think. We're all from the 21st century, and our first instinct is that no, I am going to take all the decisions by myself and noone can force me against my will. And I agree with it, it's how I think too. But sometimes, in life, we're pushed into corners, and we have to choose, we'll choose family before us. Always. It's how we were brought up. To make sure the family stays together.

So, coming back to Abhi, yes, he agreed to marry Aarohi. Why? Because he saw how his mother genuinely believed that Aarohi could bring him out of his heartbreak. Manjiri sees Aarohi as a girl who jumped into the fire to save her son, a girl who convinced the girl who spurned her son's advances to go give a statement in his favour, a girl who always stands by her son and more importantly, a girl her husband approves off. The last line sums up everything. Till now, Manjiri struggles for her husband's approval. And she knows she will never get it. She knows her husband doesn't respect her..but with Aarohi, she sees hope. Hope that her husband might say that she can do things without creating a mess. And Aarohi loves her son. That's enough for her, to think of her as perfect. Aarohi can bring her Abhi out of his sadness and heartbreak. She's the perfect match, something Manjiri could never be.

And Abhi can do anything for his mother. Uss halat mein unhe sirf Abhi ki chinta thi, uski khushi. And Abhi's happiness is linked to his mother. So he did what he thought would save her. He's destroying himself for his family, just like Akshu is for her sister.

But Abhi has always been open about it, why he's marrying Aarohi. He's told Aarohi that also. Ki all this is for his mother. Akshu, on the other hand, has been doing it without telling anyone. And for no actual reason except that it's Aarohi's zidd. But this debate is for another day xD

And I know it doesn't justify things, but a woman who's been mistreated and gaslighted for years, this is how she'd think.

And it's not like Manjiri doesn't see Abhi's pain. She does. She doubts things too, but then, she convinces herself that Abhi is genuinely trying to move on, nhi toh woh Haan kyun karta? And move on krne ke liye ek pyaar krne wala saathi chahiye, jo woh Aarohi ko samajhti hai.

She doesn't know how Aarohi is. How will she? Noone knows. Noone except Akshu. And Akshu has been putting a parda on Aarohi's behaviour for years, toh she can't expect ki people will magically see her flaws. Kairav and Goenkas are too be blamed equally for this.

Sorry for writing so much Noor :( I just have a lot to say about this :/ May have gone off topic. May not make much sense. Bas basic baat yeh hai, ki iss mess ke liye kaafi log zimmedar hai... And we have to see every aspect of each character to understand ki yeh sab kyun ho rha hai... Humans are all flawed, and we just need to take responsibility of that.

I never hated manjari. She is a person with limited knowledge & experience. She is more emotional than practical unlike her husband , who is the opposite. Sometimes I wonder how did harsh choose her as a partner .

If we go bk to the epis where she is trying to convince abhi for arohi, she said " if we can't get a partner who we love , we should marry someone who loves us ".I find nothing wrong with this statement . It's perfectly logical and practical.

Manjari can't see how much pain abhimanyu is in? Yes she can see now but She is not being allowed to talk to abhimanyu, she was sent away by harsh as we have seen . Manjari will support abhimanyu incase he calls off the wedding , won't she ? All I know is , she has abhimanyus best interests in mind n she is a wonderful mother .

You know even if she does not accept, can we blame her? She might be grateful but if she is doubtful of Akshu, it will realistic then too. For her, Akshu broke her son heart, lied to him every time... If she can do now why not tomorrow? That's the question that will bug her and rightly so. Nd the character graph lies in there and the relationship arc of Akshu and Manjiri

Manjari and akshu r so much alike ..ab itni bhi akal nai hai dono mei to think this far ...manjari has been bullied by harsh for years and akshu by arohi ..both r so used to keeping secrets n lying 😆 dono ki ram milaye Jodi hogi, only abhimanyu will suffer in this 😆

I know makers don't give time to characters and realistic situations but one can hope 🤣
