So! Just got around to finally watching episode, and, well.....
So-called top doctor ka logic: Patient flatlines. Solution? BREATHE, PLEASE BREATHE!
First time jija ji leapt forward and said Akshu, it sounded more like a sneeze..... sounds more natural and less forced when kairav calls her akshu imo.
And so apna paagal dil ka doctor screams at patient and patient comes to life again..... Screw medical degrees I guess 🤪
He's there patting her head saying "Meri baat sun li. Meri baat sun li", as if she's his pet dog at his command and not a patient 🤣
Did arohi look pissed to anybody else rather than upset when mahima told her she's not needed there as it's an accident case? Behna pe surgery surgery khelna tha usse kya? 🤪
In all this they made even top senior doctor mahima look so stupid and unethical. Getting crybaby doctor to do surgery on critical patient. Does she want akshu dead or what? Akshu is very conveniently still alive throughout this entire emotional hold-up on her surgery.... what an accommodating patient 🤣
Also the ridiculousness of the way abhi continues to talk to akshara like a dog and says "Stay with me. Come on!" whilst pointing that scalpel to her neck 🤣
Harsh just has no heart. He's completely devoid of emotions this man 🤢 I'm not even going to go into this man because I can't stand him. Arohi is significantly better than this man as she does have a conscience and does show guilt and emotions unlike this man. He knows abhi loves akshu and he can see the extent to abhi's love for akshu but doesn't care a damn.
Okay back to the pathetic joke of a surgery. I don't know who to blame. Script writers, directors, harshad's acting? WTH was all that weird dialogue and the way he was talking to akshu? Uggh such a serious situation turned into comedy. Why the hell is he calling her baba whilst operating on her? Is that meant to be cute? 🤣 I feel bad for harshad. If he watched this episode back he would be so embarrassed. I'm sorry but this one sequence was the worst acting of his career (his expressions were on point as always, but the dialogues and the way it was delivered made this performance horrible). Calling her dramebaaz when she's dying is just cherry on the top in terms of terrible dialogues.
How heart-breaking when abhi got to know his favourite record may never play
(Again the only good thing about harshad's acting was his expressions.... the writing made a clown of him today).
Mahima's stupid-ass pep-talk did a good job of making things look even more comedic. I'm surprised the only real good acting that I had no complaint from came from kdadi. Her dialogues and acting were really good.
Felt bad when she said to god that if he wants to take anyone away then take her but spare whatever remaining family members she has left. I never really thought before about how she has outlived so many of the children in her family and how depressing that must be for her. first her daughter-in-law (karthik's mother who we never really met other than in flashbacks in initial kaira marriage days), then shubham died, then naira, then karthik and sirat. And now hearing her great granddaughter in a critical condition would make an elderly person who has seen so many of her young die before her would create panic and distress.
But what was that reaction and dialogues when she said what is god's plan when she got to know abhi is doing akshu's surgery. God there are so many instances where it is clear everyone knows abhi is still very much in love with akshu but they completely show them acting ignorant very conveniently always amid arohi-abhi marriage functions. So fed up and annoyed of this ignorance.
How did arohi know so much about the case just staring at the operation happening on video at such a distant shot? 😕 Some strange creative liberty is being taken by writers in this scene just so that the family would know how critical akshu is. 🥱 Again only dadi's acting I could relate to today. She's the only member of the family who truly looked devasted. At least the most senior actress on the set performed well, as everybody else has been a disappointment in this episode.
Oh, and incase anybody missed it, that scalpel that abhi was working on akshu throughout the entire surgery all episode..... shown completely clean and blood-free when he pulls back and stops at the end. Did they run out of the fake blood they used for the blood trail in the hospital hall?
All in all, maha bakwaas episode. I've never done an epi review till now, but this episode was so comically bad I had to. So many high expectations I had from this episode, but the writing was so bad that nothing would be able to lift it up. 🤢
