are you really saying majority people watch a drama which is running for decades, spanning countless generation and problematic from all aspect to learn abt a surgery? legal affairs- an ips officer in prime time is three timing there. there was a show where professor married his student. a journalist having a child bride on tv. a singer and rockstar never went to studio to record a song.
its a drama. just a drama. one epi means nothing to the overall tv show. it will be a social media meme material, nothing else.
indeed it has been running for decades but the audience watching the show today is not the same as the audience who were watching it 15 years ago. 15 years ago the number to channels and shows available was much less and also the audience did not have the exposure to shows on Netflix etc. This is not happening just in India, it’s all over the world. Shows are having to up their game in story, depiction, sets etc to keep up with each other.
So yes I do think it matters.
And it’s not just one episode in 365 days but the whole medical storyline. The first couple of episodes where they showed the hospitals scenes were fine but very quickly they stopped taking effort with the authenticity of the scenes. So it’s more than on episode and if they are going to keep showing hospital scenes then there is more of this bull coming our way.
